Hey.
I slept in.
I really didn't do much.
I have been fasting this week and praying for the children, adults and all people in this town. Praying for their salvation and that God would really be at work in the hearts of the people here. That they would see what they are missing. That the brokeness and broken families would be replaced by a knowledge of who they are in Jesus and families that stay together and love each other. That the real house churches here would flourish and replace the empty religion. Praying that our presence here would be used by God and really used in the lives of those around us.
The only thing is that it seems that when I am fasting I fall into temptation much more easily. It's upsetting, but it happened this morning. >.> Satan tries harder when you are doing good things for God. He will try everything in his power to stop you from doing what God would have you do.
You have to rely on the Spirit to pick you up again, repair the damage and keep going strong again.
Tomorrow is the last day of my fast and then I will go in to real ministry work and step it up for the last two weeks. Pray that I would be effective in what God calls me to do. Pray that I rely on the Spirit. Pray that I flee from temptation and run to God.
I was invited to play soccer basebal with some kids. That was not fun. Stacked teams. Changing rules. Inconsistent teams. >.>
Playing guitar is awesome.
'Body of Lies' was really boring. I guess it's because I'm not American and don't care about Politics? The only thing I kept thinking is that that Ed guy is so corrupt and power hungry and impatient. >.>
'Shaolin Soccer' is so good. lol. I watched it a long time ago with my brother, but really, I didn't remember too much of it. Good movie. I'm pretty sure most of it was Cantonese..? At one point the main guy said the sweet buns were tasty. 'Hosekk'. lol. (I don't know how to spell that) Last year in the VBS in Brooklyn before meals the kids would say 'grace' "yummy yummy thank you God" in English and Cantonese. lol.
Ttyl.
