So, today was day three of the summer camp and our team leader was a bit sick and couldn't really yell or anything, so A(?) was mostly in charge. She's really awesome with the kids. She's enthusiastic, loud, positive, phrases things well for children and keeps them entertained very well, but she wouldn't pray to start the day [she's muslim and it's kinda, but not reall, but kinda a Christian camp, so at the start and end we pray], so I did. Sweet. lol.

Today got pretty chaotic after lunch though. A couple 'bored' kids, a couple fights, a couple age groups in one room. About 50 kids from age 4-13. I tend to be playing with the younger kids most of the time. This means I am a horse and a swing pushing machine a lot... I'm trying to be fair to everyone by limiting my recreational help to them in those manners though. Today after I gave everyone their pushes and they still wanted more I taught them how to swing by themselves. "Legs IN. Legs OUT. Legs IN. ..." 'Now you don't need me to push you.' They really don't care, they wanted me to push them.

Camp ended early for some reason. Not a good I dea.

anyways, I was reading a bunch from KL's book 'The Parables of Jesus' and the whole sowing the word of God then waiting as the seed mysteriously grows. Even Jesus didn't force the word to grow or shove it down anyone's throat. He sowed broadly and had mixed reactions, but the seed that was sown was not destroyed, it just lay asleep sometimes. Spreading the word doesn't get immediate responses, you need faith in God growing the seeds in their lives. I'm praying for A(?), SC, RL, KC, KFA, JC, S(?) that God is really planting seeds and helping them grow, whether they realize it or not.
