The Gospel of John

Yo. Today was pretty interesting.

It started off slowly. Slept in until 8:05, but no problem. Got there on time. AS came a few minutes later. No kids as usual at 9, so me, M(?) and AS were talking outside for a while. Sharing the gospel and just talking with him. I gace him a New Testament because he didn't have one with him and he started reading a few chapters of John already. Sweet. We talked about my bracelet and then we got to the Knowing God Personally booklet. We got a couple points in and C(?) showed up and (he's pretty intense, I have learned today) shared a few testimonies and went through the sinner's prayer with him. It kinda felt forced though, so although C(?) was super psyched about AS accepting Jesus into his life, I'm not quite as sure. C(?) doesn't even know AS's name... >.> And he kept talking. A lot of really cool things, but we were kinda not done talking about the gospel and stuff... Either way, we ended up going inside with some kids.

Camp in the morning was pretty lax.

Lunch time! Time to finish up the booklet! Jesus died and on the third day rose again. AS didn't know about the ressurection, so we went to Luke! He thought it was pretty cool. =D It's pretty amazing, yo. Then GP popped in. lol. Talking about tattoos and stuff..? Time to go back to camp.

Summer games! Arm wrestling, leg wrestling and tug of war! Tournament style, double ellimination! I had the four twelve year-olds. Simple. They all won! As opposed to AC winning everything yesterday. >.> AS and GP came to say goodbye to us. They were just in town for a few days to teach First-Aid to some people in the town. Now they are off to Waskaganish to do the same. I gave AS the booklet. I also added him on facebook so we can stay in contact.

I really wish I had more time to talk with AS and help him come to know more fully about Jesus and what has been done for each of us. I wish I had more time to finish going through the booklet and pray with him. I wish I could do more in AS's life. I need more faith in what God has already done through me, through M(?), through GP, through his parents, through the word in his heart already and in all that God has planned for his future. Whether or not I am the one to help disciple him via facebook or skype or whatever, I know God is watching over him, God loves him, Jesus has died for him and made a personal relationship with God possible. I'm praying for him.

Anyways, camp ended a little early. Guess what? Porcupine #2 sighting!!! Kids like chucking rocks at slow moving animals. >.>

After we split and I was (with the original intention of researching Lamentations) reading about the deuterocanon on wikipedia. lol.

Later, me and M(?) went to a house church meeting. C(?) had told us about it and it was pretty cool. It was in English for the most part. They sang songs, had testimony time, took offering, had a scripture and a sermon type thingee. The thing that stuck out is the constant praying and 'Hallelujah's and 'Thank you Jesus's and 'Amen's. There were a total of 9 people in that room. Church is also on Sunday at 7pm. So, I'm looking forward to that. =D

Yep.

Ttyl.
