私は野球が大好きですよ。

Hey! Today's prayer walk? fail. lol... I kinda slept past my alarm... At 7:45 I jumped up and went to start breakfast. I prayed for my team (family!) while in the kitchen. I figure that counts as praying for the town by praying for increased service from us and jsut doing more for the people of the town.

I cooked breakfast for them again, except this time I cooked eggs too. Yesterday they took what I cooked and then made eggs. >.> I made like a delicious failed frittata with mushrooms, green pepper, onions, ham, and brocoli. Also oatmeal and toast. There was a lot of stuff for the eggs, so, we will have more tomorrow! Yay! Less prep time for tomorrow's breakfast. lol.

Another slow morning.

Another crazy afternoon.

Yesterday the girls cooked an awesome dinner for us (scalloped potatoes and veggie stirfry. delish!), so today was our turn. We kinda cheated because we had new dinner food. lol. So, we had dinner rolls with baked chicken legs and mashed potatoes.

Then we raced of grudgingly to the evening program which so far had no turn out. I see this as an awesome oppourtunity to meet with the kids more one on one with a different dynamic. Meeting them as who we are not just camp counselor and camper. There were two people and a fast pitch softball game. They needed a couple players. I wanted to play so badly. I got to play!!!! Yuss!

This was actually the second game I've played here. Yesterday a kid invited us to a game at 5:30, which we kinda thought we were going to watch, but it turned out we were supposed to play with them, so I did, kinda as a captain shouting what play we should do. That day there were no outfeilders because there were only ten of us or so... so a lot of homeruns for 9-12 year olds. lol.

But I digress. Today's fast pitch game was completely different. Although there were a lot of good hits, they were always cut down to a double or triple with only a couple homeruns and one grandslam over the fence what?!? lol. I came home twice! but how I got to base isn't the best story. lol. A dropped third strike and a 4 ball walk... Boring. I like hitting the ball. xP

Yep. I'm even more burned. lol.
