Iron Sharpened by Him

May I just say that patience in love is very difficult?

It has now been a year and a half since I started living downtown with a friend of mine. At the time that I moved in, honestly, I didn't really know him too well. All I knew is that he was aware of the burdens I was bearing, he acknowledged that it kinda made him uneasy, but that he was willing to live together and be there if needed. I made a conscious choice that I would love him as a brother and be there in any way he needed me to be there for him.

I learned that I am definitely not an introvert at the core, although in many other ways we were very similar. I wanted to be able to relate better and use secular things as a way of connecting. I think in general this is a good way of getting to know friends better, learning what they like and being willing to appreciate it to some extent. I also shared some of the things from my childhood, like Maple Story cards. :P But there's only so many ways to build decks when I only have like 100 cards.

Early on it became apparent that he was having difficulty in various ways in trusting God in his life. And I was really in no position to tell him what to do. I also reeeeeally hate confrontation, so I didn't want to do anything that would force him away or make him hate me. I had kinda felt like he was keeping his distance because of my struggles, which was fine. It just felt very lonely and kinda enhanced the feeling of monstrosity I often feel towards myself.

As time went on though, I was and am very glad that we have become better friends and brothers. I feel like we both kinda tend to hold a lot back until it kinda just explodes and overflows. The problem being that he generally dislikes my asking if something is wrong, and I generally lean towards thinking things are wrong when they aren't. :P

Sometimes there were difficulties and we were there for each other. Sometimes there was nothing I could do, but pray. And God would do so much more than I could ask! Why I don't ask of Him more is unfortunate.

I am frequently encouraged by how he handles the problems around him. Even when he personally doesn't want to do something, his spirit is provoked by God, he acknowledges what God is saying to him, and he wrestles with it. I am honestly jealous of how intimate the conversations with God sound.

Most recently he's been reading biographies of missionaries. (I think I got him back into reading, influenced also by his long bus rides to work, but our pastor gave him the first of these recent books). And it just makes me really happy to see him struggle with their passion and willingness to sacrifice in service to God and others. It makes me so happy to see him desire to emulate that. It makes me so so happy that we can encourage each other and hold each other accountable and push each other forward to what God is calling us to.

Over the past year there are so many things I have tried to do to help him know God better, but I feel like the most effective things have always been what God did apart from my workings. I eagerly await the day when all sin and temptation fades away from both of us and we can stand shoulder to shoulder working for God's glory here and in other nations proclaiming His goodness in our lives and His faithfulness to fulfill all He has promised in this world.

Even if I never know the impact I actually have had on him, I'm just glad to have a brother who encourages me and is ready to call out sin in my life.

May we continue to grow in Him. May His kingdom come. May we be sent out. May love abound. May our hearts glorify God first and foremost.

Amen

PS. May I just say patience in love is very rewarding. ;P
PPS. I'm so tempted to just turn our friendship into intentional discipleship, but that hasn't worked so many times. But patiently living life trying to serve God and loving him and others seems to work. This is irritating to my desire to be the one who gets results, but yes, very rewarding in the long run, and MUCH more glorifying to God. :P

New Eve

Yo,

it's Christmas eve. That's cool. It's also super weird for a lot of reasons. Aside from the fact that it was like 16 degrees today and sunny, there;s a number of other things. Normally at this time I'd be wrapping presents. Or 'presents'. bwahaha. But today my brother's boyfriend was coming over so I had to be all ready for today. So I actually get to go sleep in a minute. =D

Something normal though, every Christmas eve for a long time now me and my brother would get to open a present. It was always clothes to be worn the next day when our grandparents came over. Today I got a really nice sweater. And my dad explained that it was 'conditional' upon my complete destruction of my other sweater. You know, the black and grey one. My sweater! Why does everyone hate it!? It still works fine!! =O

Nothing else to say really. I baked a lot these last couple days. Oh! I discovered Clean Bandit the other day during MishMashFM and I proceeded to listen to all of their music on Spotify and now I'm a little addicted. They are so cool! Combining electronic and classical music. The main group is a string quartet. So cool. They have a song literally about classical music vs electronic music called "Mozart's House". This one is my current repeating favourite song: Stronger

So cool yo. Looking forward to Urbana in a few days.

PS. O . O is Jesus is 'new Adam' why is the church never called 'new Eve'..? Is that biblical? ..?

Studying / Video Games

Hey!

Today was really boring. lol.........

Summed up it was sitting in a room for literally like 9 hours sending emails, reading lecture slides and listening to Legend of Zelda music on repeat.

>.<

Exams are lame. xP. Gotta beat them though.

I feel really bad for SM and AY and the rest of the Architecture students who have been working day and night to finish their projects due on Thursday, the majority of which have had 2 hours of sleep or so (as far as I 've heard). >.>

I kinda miss all the hours I spent playing video games, but I know that that won't make me happy. It doesn't accomplish anything in real life. Playing a game briefly with a friend or two for fun is fine, but spending literally all weekend on a one person game that no one will ever care you played, whatever, why do that? I still have fond memories. It was a good game. Me and my brother played it together sometimes. Figuring out things together, good times.

Organic, Physical and Bio-

So, it's nearly Wednesday... I guess the week disappeared. lol

Monday was all about my Phys chem lab. All morning working so hard to finish that on time. Then I had a lab, prayer meeting, a break and then we got ready to go to Dundas for a pizza outreach.

There were six of us going, so we met in Oasis and prayed. You see, as part of my DG we take turns organizing and implementing an outreach. This week MW planned to go onto DB's floor in res and have pizza, have open conversation, a game or two and build friendships from there. I personally had thought that MW is kinda, like, focusing only on DB as our main first year guy. Whenever he does this I think that he's like ignoring the other guys, SM, JS, MC, etc. I think I'm not fully loving of MW. It's really cool that he's taking the initiative and building into DB so much though.

Anyways, there were a lot of people. We knocked (politely) on people's doors and when told there was free pizza they positively and in an interested tone asked 'seriously?' There were a lot of girls. We only realized that we hadn't asked any C4C girls to come with us as of, like, 30 minutes before the outreach. xP...

It was cool. We had 5 pizzas. We played mafia and some people told some stories. LT basically told the prodigal son story, but it was actually the true story of this girl he knew, what was her name again..? Burnadette? Nope. Anne. Sure, that's easier to say! lol (He didn't know. Those were the names suggested). Yup.

I'm looking forward to 'Story of the Soul: Hope' next Friday night.

Anyways, I got home from the party and had to study for my midterm in organic chemistry this morning. TJN and I studied late into the night. It was actually the first time I had seen some of the material... I missed one lecture and it was a pretty important one. >.>

This morning CW's alarm went off at 7:16. It's just the radio, but he listens to the radio really loudly, so either I wake up or lie in bed with my hands full pressure over my ears to block the noise, which is no way to sleep.

Oh! I had a dream. NM was in my dream. I was at some Banjo and Kazooie convention of some sort (mainly playing levels that don't actually exist, but that I've played in dreams before) and NM and his girlfriend show up and of course we have a giant hug and he's smiling that ridiculous smile as always. That's as much as I remember, well there was also this part about a music note I couldn't find in one level, but that's unimportant. I miss NM... He was like the first guy I met in Vancouver before going to East Asia. He has this crazy haircut that's like really long on one side of his head and short on the other. He also has rainbow shorts that are shorter than his boxers. lol..... We ran together once during Orientation.

Anyways, ya. I went to school early. TJN had invited me to audit his stats class and study for orgo. Yep. I learned a lot in that hour and a half. I'm pretty sure I aced the test.

Then I managed to get a good deal of my Biochem lab done. Then I had a bio lab and got a plant! lol. We were cutting them up last week, but now we aren't so our lab coordinator was giving them away. I have this deep set idea that my lab coordinator was the teacher for my plant bio mini program in grade 8... I don't know. maybe. I really like plants. xP.

Then I got some work done on my discussion for the Biochem lab, prayer meeting, stats class, train and bus home, massive amount of rice and one piece, Fun with Dick and Jane (which brought back good memories with my brother), and now I continue to procrastinate instead of studying for my physical chemistry midterm tomorrow. >.<

Getting Back on Track

Hey. Today, or rather this weekend I hope to do all my prelabs for the coming week. I have done none today. First I had a large helping of No Name Quick Oats which I bought 2.25kg of the other day. I also have a kilo of sugar, so I should be okay. After breakfast we went to the Food Court on 2nd floor University Centre on campus for follow-up training and data entry. There are so many people interested in meeting up with us again! It's so exciting! And I get to help! Both scary and very exciting. I can't wait to meet these people and talk with them. I'm kinda worried that my schedule will kill any free time I have though, so I may not end up being able to help very much... We had pizza for lunch. Don't ask about the last four pieces. I don't know what happened to them. >.> I put them down at the bus station then chased after a bus. Anyways, I bussed a really long way around the city to get to worship practice.

[I just realized I wasn't finished posting this. lol]

Worship practice was really good. It was me, AL's brother AL, PE and NE on worship team. We went through the songs quickly and went home early. They drove me home. Then I was going to go play tennis with my brother. JS had asked if he could borrow my racket. It wasn't home yet, so I made Kraft Dinner for supper. I ran off to tennis. I thought the courts were way closer than they are... We played. It was a lot of fun. I went to my parents'. Ate ice cream and got a drive home with leftovers. xP I need to go buy some food...

Rolling in the Deep

Okay, so I'll admit that I'm not exactly the most up to date person when it comes to pop culture or new artists or anything. The other day I watched the Much Music video awards. Who is Adele..? That was my main question aside from many others. KFA said that she was pretty famous. lol. I haven't heard of her.

Anyways, Sunday was the church picnic at Vincent Massey Park. Another new brother and sister baptised showing their faith in Jesus and their choice to have a new life in Him. I was so happy for them. He had a young family and looked so excited to be getting baptised. I hope he sees how much his life is blessed.

I'd been really tempted ever since I got back from Toronto. A whole amazing week of doing something worthwhile and life changing for these children. There was no time for any sin. lol. Then I got back and there's been nothing but time. >.< And I can only be OCD so much of the day.

I actually ended up talking to RM who talked at Getaway about sin. He encouraged me.

Mostly all I have been doing is cleaning, watching anime, playing tennis, going to the hospital and sleeping. I saw my old Chemistry and Biology teacher today by the tennis courts. In an attempt to not be seen or recognized I avoided eye contact and removed my glasses. This worked for a little while, but he was doing stretches and so he had a lot of time to figure it out. GG asked about my summer and my jobs and stuff. In the end he went off jogging up and down Argue Drive. The thing was that I couldn't put my glasses back on because he would then see me wearing them. >.< So I had to play for a while without glasses. I actually think my sight has gotten a bit better. He doesn't know my brother yet, but he will. lol. He said to say hi to everyone, but I didn't want to text anyone and it's always really awkward saying someone says hello.

By the way, Adele has a few songs. The one that was nominated a lot 'Rolling in the Deep' is pretty good.
However, I actually saw my friend's cover first and I still think it is very good. Especially for them, it is one of their best covers so far. I think JG is getting better at singing. Although she apparently still hasn't had those singing lessons she said she would. >.>

Anyways,

PS. YA was really cool. RL and DW were both there which was awesome. DW leaves in a few days for MacMaster. RL has a number of things to think / worry about but is content. Pray for them.

PPS. My mom is physically better. However, she isn't really thinking properly... So keep her in your prayers. She may be there for a few more days. She is not looking forward to it. She isn't sleeping during the nights. She doesn't like the hospital food. She has nothing to do with her time there. I don't want to see her in this state. I love her and want her to get better.

Creepy Evangelism

So, ya.

My phone ran out of battery power so I had to stop talking to my friends and I was kinda forced to talk to the guy beside me.

We were going to get back to Ottawa around 4:30ish.... I didn't even tell him my name until 3:30 and it looked really awkward when I finally did... xP He was like 'Whoa. Where is this coming from.!?' or something. xP He apparently had his masters in Chemistry from Ottawa University and works in research. His parents are non-practicing Catholics and he had never really thought about God. This sounds like someone who both needs God and doesn't really have too much opposition, I think, but it was so darn awkward......... I was so close to going through the booklet with him, but I couldn't figure out how exactly... In the end I creepily put one in his coat pocket..... xPPPPPP Ya. I know that's terrible.............

I have learned a few things from this though:
-Introduce yourself as soon as you can to reduce amazing awkwardness.
-Never let a time restriction get in the way (When we got back I thought "aww. I definitely would have had enough time....")
-Sharing with friends / people currently in school is sooo much easier because we have things in common.

Also, I was sitting there going through intense agony thinking 'what do I say..?' 'Hi. My name is Dylan. What's your name..?''oh.... he's asleep...' 'He's awake. Do it.' 'what do I say..?''Just do it.''You prayed that someone would come to Christ today. This is the last person you can share with.' I was looking back and forth. He probably thought I was crazy.... I pray that P(?) would come to Christ. That he would find that booklet and not be creeped out, but rather, read it and either be curious for more answers or right there pray to accept Christ. It's in His hands now. I won't even know...

Ya......... lame. xP

Answering questions is hard work.... xP

Being a witness at home is not what I am used to. lol. "Face Psalm" My brother is funny.

A Step of Faith

Hey, so

last night the usual thing happened after I went to bed (at 12:30) and I had some dreams. The last part of the last one (all I can remember right now) I was in some kind of store and was going to buy something. My brother was also there. I think we were buying something for my mom. Anyways, my brother bought something and I was about to pay for something more expensive and couldn't find that much money in my wallet... I was getting worried that I would have to go home and get the money, but then I found the exact amount in my hand. We then went home to find that my mom had dyed her hair and had partially shaved her head... It was shocking... I then woke up.... XP...

Ya. This morning is the freewill offering and last night I thought "oh. 40$ should be fine". SS prayed for us about deciding how much we give and stuff. After last night I want to take large steps of faith.

I was thinking in the bathroom about my dream and thought "maybe that is how much I should give"

Winter Conference: Commence!

So,

The first main session ended a few minutes ago or so and now after some breif exploring we are going to play monopoly deal... XP

I accidentally texted my parents an "XP" and they did not know what it meant.... And I did not feel like explaining so I told them to ask my brother.

It's a bit odd now that my parents have a cell phone that I can instantly inform them of what I am doing, except that would be weird, so I'm not. XP

Very Cherry!

Hey, I know this post is very near to the last post, but there's somthing I havn't talked about that I did on Thursday that I can now SHOW YOU! and also, something else is IN MY HOUSE right now that I didn't notice until an hour or so ago.

So, we shall start with Thursday.

On Thursdays I normally go to YA. This Thursday I did not. Instead I went to MHS's Multicultural Show (17th Annual!)! There is one main reason why I was going: to see my brother perform. I got to see a lot of people and I got to see the show which was really good (especially VN's fan dancing). And I think that the last act was really creative and cool. It was a couple people from each of the individual acts put together to show how Canada is Multicultural and I think that was really cool. Usually the multicultural show is not very, idk... Not very Multicultural..? I don't really know how to explain it, but it doesn't matter. This year's show was pretty amazing (they even had some professional Indonesian Dancers!)! The only thing I thought, originally, was going to be bad was JF's song at the end. She wrote it herself and was going to perform it at the very end of the show... It was pretty good.

So, I am going to post a couple more videos. xP First is the Swing Dance act. The swing dancers are a really cool group of people and exist all year long, unlike most of the acts (Steel band played this year! Yay Music!!) which just work all fall to get together a dance then perform it and wait until next year. I have a bunch of friends in Swing (including my brother.) and so, here is the video :

And the second video is JF's song:

So, ya. #2! CHERRY IS BACK!!!!!!

Cherry is beyond cute.

Cute
Hairy
Energetic (and)
Really,
Really,
Yellow..? 0.o

I'm not too good at acrostic poetry... xP

Anyways, this morning I spent some time with Cherry. For a while she was barking at her reflection in the back door. LOL. Then she was in relentless pursuit of the food that has fallen between the stove and the counter. >.> And I took her for a walk earlier. For a couple minutes she was running as fast as she could while dragging me behind her. xP

I enjoy having pets.

Have You Ever III..?

Have you ever voted without knowing anything about who you were voting for..?

Well, I kinda just did... XP....

I had really only heard anything about the mayoral candidates from my parents and my brother. I only knew that no one likes the current mayor, the Andrew Hayden (who named the park) had some plan for busses and that my parents were both voting the same way...

I knew nothing about the councillors or the trustees...

xP.... Whatever... It's one vote.

Sleeping In

So.

It's a long weekend, so I've been sleeping in. xP...

I've mostly been hanging out with friends / my brother and not doing much other than playing video games. xP

I went back to highschool on Friday. AL also was going to go and I thought of inviting BC, but didn't... I'm kinda passively mean to him... Anyways, BC did show up and so did AT. We went around bugging our old teachers (GG, PJ, JS, NC). Then we went to Wendy's for no real reason. Then we went to my house and played video games.

I cleaned the kitchen yesterday. Mostly just to procrastinate... xP...

Intentional Living

So, ya...

I really gotta do my sunday school homework then sleep..... like 8 hours until we leave for church. So, ya...

Today was amazing. After work (which is quite different now that produce's renovations have finished) I had to fill in for RL for A/V during worship practice. So, I got home, threw some food in a bag and ran out the door again.

Ok, this is serious. I was thinking "where is worship practice..?" "The church." "Where is the church..?" "Westboro United, right..?" "I havn't been there in a long time. I can't even remember what it looks like" "Didn't we move yet..?" Ok... I seriously didn't think we were there anymore. This week has been so long / jam packed with stuff that I havn't been to church in a long time.

Once I got to church I had my "lunch"* and tried to get my brother to go to church tonight. There was going to be this super amazing YA / YF worship night and I got to be on the worship team for it. So, after I did A/V for the actual worship team practice I did a worship practice for tonight's worship and then did tonight's worship. I was soooo hyper after the practice. I really enjoy being on worship team.

Anyways, tonight was amazing. This guy talked about this thing he's doing. He moved so that he could live in this kinda sketchy neighbourhood. He's been there 2 years. His goal is to live a missional life. A life that is witness of how Jesus and God have been working in his life. He told us a story, he tied in some scripture, and he was a Carleton grad. xP

So, ya. You shouldn't be separating parts of your life. Your whole life should be an example.

ttyl. gotta do my sunday school homework... xP

Physics "Test"

So.

Today I had a Physics Tutorial at 8:30. The way these tutorials work is that we work in pairs on some practice questions then we get a test relating to the practice questions.

YA, JC and ZB are in my Physics class and lab, so I am becoming friends with them. I knew of them while we were at MHS, but I never really hung out with them. (I knew a lot of people, but mostly just hung out with the giftees and the music kids and some drama kids.)

Did I mention how this physics class doesn't expect us to have taken Physics in high school..? So everything is very boring and I've already learned it.

Today's tutorial was about straight line motion.

There is a car going at a speed. It slows down with a constant acceleration. How far did the car travel while braking..?

So simple! >.>

I finished the "test" at 9:35. The class actually goes to 11:30 normally... So I went to the Loeb building (where my next class is, at 1.) and watched anime and blogged...

Lol... my calc teacher does this funny thing when we are semi-confused / not thinking for ourselves. He will write "?!...!" beside the question and tell us to think for ourselves. he writes out every single word of the lesson in fancy cursive on the board. Most teachers use a projector or even short forms of words, but not him. He also mispronounces some words... "ln", the natural logarithm is said "lawn". He says "lin". He says "constant" as "conistant". He's funny.

After school today I have to play tennis with my brother. I told him on Monday that we could play on Saturday and he said that was too far away, so I have to play him between school and YA, which means I'll have to have another shower in between. >.>

So, ya... Once physics' class time is up, I'll stop procrastinating and do some math homework until math class.

So. I'll talk to you later. (ttyl)

My Brother Was Asleep... >.>

Ossu. (if you don't know by now, 'ossu' is a very informal way of saying 'hey' [in japanese].)

Oh... XP. I already blogged today. XP... In class. =D

Not much happened after class. I still hadn't eaten anything. I went to my chem tutorial. Basically its our prof doing some questions from the book in great detail so that we understand them. It was mostly just converting units of pressure and using the ideal gas law.

After that I went to the quad and wasted more time on fb and youtube until my battery started complaining.

Then I went to a computer lab in the Steacie building and did the same, but also some chem work.

I discovered a song by G-Dragon that is pretty cool.

[Insert 'shonen yo' by G-Dragon here.]

The reason I didn't go home immediately is that I had signed up for a workshop about writing lab reports.

The workshop was pretty boring and the speaker went too far in explaining things, but I suppose that I learned a couple things and it was all reinforced.

So, ya. Work is boring.

Blogging Before Bed

Yay! Alliteration! =D

>.> lame... I hate english...

Anyways, hey! Today was Saturday September 3rd. September... Ewww school in like half a week...

I had work, then worship practice, then tennis.

I moved out on Monday, right..? Then why have I been home three days in a row..? For free dinner..? No. For free meat..? No. Why..? Because my brother wants me to play tennis with him and my mom worries too much... >.>

So, ya. Worship practice today was amazing... xP Sometimes worship team is sooooo cool, but sometimes it is kinda annoying. Its usually really cool though. Playing bass and singing harmonies is a lot of fun.

This song is sooo cool. "Power Of Your Love" by Hillsong.

I like how we play it more then that version though. More bass and guitar. xP

OCBC Wedding

So, hey.

There are a number of things I could talk about, but I will limit the discussion to two main topics. The first topic is about first and last times.

So, I have had a very limited range of experiences, I think. I mean, I haven't ever been on a plane, been to Salem Storehouse, been to Anime Stop, driven(a real car), crossed the provincial border for the sole purpose of consuming alcoholic beverages legally, or had a full time job. However, this week with moving and stuff, there will be a lot of firsts and oddly, a couple lasts, at least for now.

A few firsts: moving(Aug 30), getting a bus pass (even though I only first bought bus tickets myself a couple months ago...), using a bus pass (Sept 1!), going to a wedding, broke a string on a tennis racket (yay!! my brother breaks them all the time because he 'hits too hard'), and going to university!

A couple lasts, at least for now: mowing the lawn, using bus tickets, having a window in my room (>.>) [it turns out I do have a window. so happy about that. xP] , and getting rides everywhere from my parents [I'm still getting a lot of rides, but it's a different attitude. More like "Can I drive you anywhere? Please."].

I guess some things are changing now... and I don't know what I'm feeling... it feels like I'm not feeling anything... but ya, the second topic is this: there was a wedding today.

For a couple and a half years now, I've gone to OCBC YF and other stuff. That is how long I've known KC and JK, or should I say Mr. and Mrs. J and KK. They were always the cool YA I looked up to (before I knew the younger YA, but I guess they are more like friends now. hehe) Today was the first wedding I've ever been to. It was warm. It was in a place in the middle of nowhere. It was emotional. It was fun / funny.

I was looking for a new youtube video to post. I typed "big bang" and this was the first song in the list:

Hehe. Wedding Dress by Tae Yang from Big Bang. The lyrics do not really relate to the situation of J and KK though... xP I mean, JK didn't just sneak into KC's life and sweep her away from some other guy or anything. He has spent a lot of quality time with her and they are always having fun. I hope their marriage lasts forever and that they can grow spiritually, encouraging each other every step of the way. I'm really glad I was invited and even working this morning isn't bad if you think of how cool the wedding was. If I had to miss it to work I would have missed something amazing.

Packing is Hard

Hey! Blogging during the day! Yay!

So, today is my last full day in Ottawa. I have a bunch of stuff to do, like memorizing lines, find a costume..?, packing, work at the tennis courts, cleaning out my phones mp3s so that there are only praise and worship songs on it, getting some American money, shaving and washing my sheets.

I practiced all the skits out loud and my brother thinks that they are ridiculous. He even got Wednesday's question right! Though it is a Sunday School answer. "Today's Bible hero went to ask someone to heal his servant. Who did he ask for help?" It's clear what the answer is. Isn't it..?

xP... I'm peeling... my forehead, ears and shoulders that is... I havn't peeled in a few years, so I guess this burn was pretty bad. xP

So, ya. I'm gonna do some of those things now.

I'll see you in a week and a bit, unless we go to an internet cafe of something... I'll blog on paper next week and update you later.

No Cold Water

So, ya.

I kinda told you everything I did today already, so I don't know what to tell you. So here are some generic and semi-random / semi-unnessesary things that I havn't told you yet...

1. You know how in the summer it's hot... and sunny... and you can see reflections in the pavement because the air is hot..? Well you know that buzzing you hear..? I thought that was caused by the hot air for the longest time. Just the sound of summer, you know..? No... T.T it's actually just cicadas, which are pretty cool.

2. My shower currently has no cold water availability. This is because the cold water knob is kinda broken. This is actually a real pain... but my brother doesn't mind... >.> he likes hot water...

3. I suck at English. This includes spelling. Don't blame me for bad spelling please. I just don't care that much. If it sounds right, it's good enough. xP

4. Last week when we went to St. Laurent to watch Shrek 4, I got a drive home from DZ. I accidentally left it in his car. I didn't care much because it was a 5$ umbrella, so I just didn't mention it. Today, I got a drive home from Silvercity Gloucester from him. It was still there. xP

Ya. DZ doesn't talk much and I don't talk much to people that I don't really know, so the drive was kinda awkward. He was using his GPS and he had his ipod plugged in. It has a very aclectic collection of songs. Including last time I've heard k-pop, pop, rock, classical, background music from video games (including maplestory... lol...), and like other random stuff.....

The first song today played twice. The whole time I was like, "ummm is this Big Bang or not....? it really sounds like them...." I never asked him. I kinda wanted to look through his ipod and put on "only look at me" by Tae Yang, but I feel like you need to know someone before you ask to look through their ipod.

It turns out it was Big Bang.

Big Bang rocks.

Also tonight I was talking to CW and he said I might be able to work with him sometimes. I had been thinking about asking him for a while because it sounds cool and is not detail oriented. As far as I can tell it's mostly a physical job. CW does 'landscaping'. Whatever that entails. xP I think it sounds cool, but he never really talks in detail about his job.

Ya.

Ttyl.

"Hey AL. Have you ever snuck into a theatre for free before..? No..? Good. Apparently you get caught and kicked out if you do. You should probably not take your girlfriend/boyfriend on a 'free' date to watch a movie. That would be embarassing... but I suppose you'd have to have a gf/bf to do so... I don't have a gf."

Zombies are Braindead.

All in all today was messed up. xP

I woke up at 6 to rush off to work to find out I didn't have work today, but stayed 4 hours anyway... This is good for a number of reasons: I get money for rent (eventual rent), get practice doing morning duties (because on Sunday I will only have a couple hours to do it... >.>) and also ... idk...

Anyways. After work I went home, had a shower, ate lunch, watched anime, played wayyyyy too much PvZ, like waaaaay too much..... then we were going to go get my brother from summer school and go watch a movie for his and my mom's birthday. My brother doesn't always explain things and apparently is a good kid in school because he puts his cell phone in his bag and actually pays attention, so although we thought he was just not answering us because he usually doesn't, he was actually just being good.

Anyways the point is, my brothers actions (past and present) made my dad really mad... we didn't see the movie and ya.... me and my mom went to red lobster.

[I just thought of this one. My brother got home at like 10, though, so the sun kinda went down... and my dad is already asleep... I'm not angry though. KFA's always like this. xP

Ephisians 4:26-27
"In your anger do not sin.": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.]

Ya.......... I'm gonna go do a bible study.... (last second... kinda... hehe... waaay too much PvZ... >.>) then i'm gonna sleep...

Peace.

"Hey AL, sometimes it seems like these updates are really just a paragraph from one of my normal blog posts, but usually a positive one. Shouldn't these updates actually update you of something related to why I am updating you..? Playing way too much PvZ can deffinately contribute to not having a girlfriend though, so... ya.... I don't have a girlfriend."
