One Week Left

Today was pretty boring I guess.

It started really slowly, I slept in after watching 'Shutter Island' with the guys who hadn't seen it before. The team seems to think that I don't live very much during the year because I don't get to see many movies. It is true though that I see a lot more during the summer. So far this summer, even with watching 4 or 5 movies a week sometimes, I have only rewatched 3 so far. So, the stats are against me, but I have seen 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Inception', and 'Shutter Island'. In gr. 12 English class (lol), in theatre (summer) and in RM's home theatre (summer).

Anyways, I got internet, so I read my emails. VBS is only a couple weeks away. Today I got a package of information. It seems like I have quite a bit of responsiblity. I'm the main character in the skits. I lead the Bible Story telling time. I'm helping with games. I think I'm doing some other stuff too. Small group co-leader for gr 4-6 kids. I definitely didn't expect all of this. I guess I expected the skit considering I did that last year, and I suppose with only 6 of os instead of 10 or 15 we would need to do more... I guess I'm growing up, but still want to have less responsibilities..? Well, AL was telling the stories last year, and he's kinda not really a pastor, so maybe that's why I think this is so much more terrifying then it is. I hope I can familiarize myself with the stories this week. I read them over today.

Okay, honestly, most of my day was spent working on my bracelet. It's pretty sweet though. A definite upgrade from the old, smelly, worn one with a flaky 'gold bead'. It turned out really well.

I went to the outdoor hockey rink and played guitar and talked to N(?). She played with my cellphone camera. I haven't seen the pictures yet though.

The bonfire never happened tonight, so I don't know. I ended up finishing 2 Kings and read 7 chapters of Chronicles. Very confusing since no one has a last name and the phrasing isn't always clear. And some names just appear with no context. >.> I still don't understand the whole half-tribe of Manassah thing either. And now it's just turning into 2 Samuel again..? I'm confused.

Well, I'm staying up in case any of my friends from East Asia are online since the last two Fridays I wasn't.
