[Aout 11] - One day remaining.

It started to hit me today; we leave on Friday. That’s tomorrow. One day from now. It’s almost over. For real this time. >.>

M(?) learned how to push himself on the swings today!!!!!! He was so happy. Everytime any of us passed by him on the swing, he made sure to tell us about it. His friend L(?) is really cute and has the best laugh. He also really enjoys my Super Mario voice. Lol. I pushed him a lot today.

In the afternoon we played handball, but the teams were really poorly weighted and so me and MF were put on the team that, by chance, had all the girls (WCF made the teams). The other team had 4 older boys as well as a bunch of other people. We had two younger boys who decided to stay near the other net while the two of us and one older girl had to get the ball up to them. It was an even game for a while, but then the other team was winning by a lot, we nearly made a comeback, then they continued creaming us. >.>

Afterward we played this game. Well, it wasn’t really a game. Me and WCF were tied to the basketball pole. The kids were divided into teams. After picking up 10 pieces of garbage the kids would have a turn to wrap us in streamers. 10 more pieces and they get to chuck a water balloon at either me or him. For the longest time only my feet were wet. Even the three that they threw directly at me bounced off and then broke. Lol. Then AF told them to aim above our heads at the basketball hoops. We got showered. Lol. Did I mention I was voluntold? xP

Then we went swimming. It was pretty cold and the tide was way in meaning that it was pretty deep. Also, today there were waves! Interesting for a while, but too cold overall.

I started packing and we cleaned the house a bit. We had a team dinner tonight. We got poutine from the restaurant and cooked some chicken. We talked about best moments, things we will / won’t miss, things we’ve learned, etc. It was good.

Finally, tonight at 8pm Cree time, meaning 9:45, there was a concert in the arena. It was pretty good. I don’t understand Cree, so I left early, but it was good for a while. All the kids were there running around consuming sugar and getting us sticky.

No internet today. Not even for MF or WCF.
