Hey!
Today was more of the same. More story telling and working on that. Today we worked at my new house for this year. Only DK was there and he was busy studying, so we didn't actually see him until we were pretty much done.
10-6 Although, it could have been more intense. I got a bunch of good Bible verses to relate to the stories and integrate the gospel.
The third story of the week is about a Roman centurion (a commander of one hundred soldiers) who loved his servant and wanted to heal him from his sickness that had him paralyzed and suffering. The centurion went to Jesus and asked him to heal the servant, but when Jesus said he would go and heal him, the centurion replied that he was not worthy to have Jesus step in his house. As a centurion, he was a powerful man that could tell his men to do anything and they would. He also knew that Jesus was even more powerful. Just say he word and I know that my servant will be healed. Without even needing to see Jesus heal his servant, he knew that he would be healed. Jesus says that He had never seen such faith in anyone in Israel. Conclusion: the servant was healed at the same time the centurion asked Jesus.
The centurion didn't know for sure, but he trusted in Jesus and believed He could heal his servant. He took a step of faith. He believed in something even though he couldn't see it.
I really enjoy Thursday's story, but Friday's is a little boring. I don't really like the book of Acts. It's probably better then I think it is though.
Sushi tomorrow and more rehearsal time. This time EC will be there. I hope she does well on her exam tomorrow morning. RL and CL are gone on a mini-vacation thing now, so we'll see them in Toronto. They seem really prepared though, so that's good.
Ttyl.

PS. Admitedly, I've been struggling with some sin issues recently and kinda currently. Pray that God can remove them from my life by enabling me to rely more on his strength and Spirit in me, because I am failing on my own and it is leading to problems with people around me. I don't want to be the one that makes the VBS fail or cause extra stress for everyone else. Plus, we need to set an example and I am not an example right now.
