The Aftermath

Yo.

Last night wasn't long enough to talk to my mom and blog and get enough sleep to go to a wedding, so this is it.

Yesterday was our last day of camp. We had one last morning and then we had to finish packing, give our remaining food away and ship out to the airport.

At camp we had t-shirt signing (even non-camp t-shirts), a lot of hugs, a lot of pictures, and a lot of the usual. M(?) and some of the kids were a bit sadder then usual. M(?) especially. He was acting like I normally do. Instead of going to sign everyone's shirt and get his signed he was just being quiet and sad and not thinking about it. Until camp was over anyways. Then he started crying and crying and crying. I miss him so much. He almost made me cry. Him, his sister and his friend and one other kid ended up at our porch with me trying to cheer him up. Time passed quickly and it was almost time to go.

At the airport five kids came to say goodbye, also all of the people there thanked us and shook our hands.

15 minute flight. Waskaganish. 25 minute wait. 30 minute flight. Nemska. 10 minute wait. 30 minute flight. Chibougamau. Go through customs. 125 minute flight. Montreal.

Say goodbye to MF and AF.

2 or 3 hour bus to Ottawa. Modern Family the whole way. lol.

So tired. Well, not really. I stayed up a long time talking to my mom and showing her some pictures.

Overall, really awesome time in NQ. Great time learning about children and seeing them as God's creation. So much potential and promise if these kids are led down the right path. Even just being there showing them that they are loved is better then nothing. There are ways I think the camp could have been improved, but based on the circumstances, the year went really well, I got to meet and become friends with five awesome people, got to become friends with so many awesome kids, I guess I got an appreciation for children's ministry. I also got to see how God is using people all over the world and raising them up to be men of God and bring God's word to the lost and bring them life before this life is gone. I'm thinking about next year, but I don't know what will happen.

Today was awesome. Just enough time to get to the wedding and practice once before the awesome sevice and reception. I'm so blessed to have been able to be there for AL and ML! If it was rainy yesterday, I wouldn't be here now.

So good.

I played some video games with my brother. Relaxing day.

Wrote a long note for mt bosses.

Anyways, today was awesome.

Ttyl.
