Let's REACH!

So today for frosh week the UTM students weren't on campus. They bussed down to downtown Toronto. It didn't make sense for us to be on campus like that, so we shipped out too. JW picked me up, got DG, went to campus and got T(?) and we were off.

In the car we got to hear more vision and info on the Reach Conference from GH. He told us about the speakers and the seminars and everything which sounds so cool. More info here: http://www.thereachconference.com/

So we went downtown to promote the Reach conference. Got out of the car at UofT and I finally got to meet HF! He didn't recognize me though... lol. Seems no one does. haha. Me and him split from the others to put up posters around campus in the buildings. The others were approaching students on campus to tell them about the event.

After a while I ended up by the Sid Smith building. I had been emailing and texting some buddies from UofT about me being around and was told they'd be in front of that building. =D Met JK and AK and GS and a few other people I didn't know previously. lol. Great to meet them in person. Looks like UofT is having an awesome time.

We had ramen for lunch. xP

Went to Ryerson to give out flyers at the School of Management. Students were very receptive there about the business conference. Really no conversations though... AF CAME AND VISITED ME! =D It's been nearly two years. haha. =D The girls and HF left after an hour or so, but AO and a couple guys JW knew joined us.

JW has this way of just assigning people to do things. It's kinda cool. lol. Kinda intense. Kinda crazy. I think I am picking up on it. lol. In an elevator after we were kinda rejected at a commerce society welcome meeting I was just like "Yo, pray." ? "Like now. haha" ? "like here and now." then the door opened. too late. haha.

Hung out a bit with the guys. Dinner. Bubbletea. Staples (to get name card holders figured out). Etc. haha

Don't know exactly what is up for tomorrow yet. It's an adventure. lol. For sure gonna start doing follow-up emails and calling for the guys we need to meet up with that are interested.

Pray for more first years! DG and A(?) are sweet! Pray for guys! Pray for Awakening! Let's ask for more!
