Yo, so, clearly I haven't posted anything in a few days. Haha. Again I say, too bad. lol
Anyways, the thing I need to tell you about right now is the fact that BF and HK are now B and HF. Hehe. It was a really sweet wedding. I had work that morning, but whatever. lol. I got off just in time to get a drive to the wedding. It was at our current church building and there were a lot of people I didn't know. Haha. It was really good. JS and CW were back and T and RM were back from their honeymoon. I was really happy to be there. It was really funny too. HF's family is so funny. They really are perfect for each other in their unique eccentricity and love for God. I pray that they'd be blessed and follow His love everyday of their lives.
During the marriage license signing there was a song being played quietly. I think I love classical guitar now. lol.
So good.
We went out to Almonte and had dinner and heard the speeches from the party and square dancing. lol. That was fun. It was really good getting to talk with CW again and see what he's up to.
Was so tired when I got home I just had to sleep. Haha.
Today's sermon was on Tolerance, but not our current cultural tolerance which is tolerant of everything except intolerance, but true tolerance, where you don't agree, but allow each other to express your thoughts / beliefs, but something must be true. And the fact is that we can be so tolerant because God as so tolerant with us when we were turning and running from Him, but He never left us. He sent His Son to die for us.
I had to go to work. Haha. I want to be SL's friend. lol. We didn't get to talk much today, but I'm not gonna facebook stalk him. lol. Our shifts overlap a bit on Friday, so we'll talk then. lol.
Well, anyways, VBS starts tomorrow.

So, No One Wins?
Haha.
Today wasn't much to talk about: work, Kirby, tennis, softball, Fluxx.
10-2:30 at work. I had switched with JH so I could play softball and so we could beat Sunnyside. Haha. When I got there they were a bit behind and MR said he was happy we had switched. Time flew by.
Got home and played Kirby's Epic Yarn again with my brother. I think it's really funny. I really like Nintendo games: Zelda, Mario, Kirby, etc. It's a bit childish, but, so what? Better than FPS games. lol And it's a cooperative game and we keep 'cheating'. lol. In other words, jumping off of my head to reach an unreachable platform, which would normally take a bit more effort. lol Or similar things.
Ummm. Next was tennis. Always good. Haha. I'm not the best. I'm not terrible though. I return most things and usually the ball is in. Haha.
Softball was good. I did not throw the bat, CL did! Haha. Ya, it was an epic fight! We had a ragtag team with only three Chinese people, but we held the game to a tie. We were definitely winning the whole game until the last inning. Good game though. lol
Oh, then we went to McD's. lol... MR, AdSB and RT had all played on our team this week. AL had a bacon'd McFlurry. For 79 cents you can add acon to anything. lol. We ended up playing Fluxx, a game where the goal is to win, but the method and game mechanics change through the gameplay. I nearly won once. >.>
Yep. Haha. Ttyl.

Ramblings Again
You know, one post a day is probably enough, eh?
This is one reason why I think tumblr is kinda annoying (or at least tumblr mediated by my google reader).
But that's pretty irrelevant. Haha
Ya, so today is (Friday technically, but it is the blog post for) Thursday. It's crazy that the summer is nearly gone. Haha. I got another nice sun burn. lol. I played tennis with my brother yesterday for a couple hours.
Yep. Recently just a lot of playing. Haha. Today we played some more of Kirby's Epic Yarn. xP. Like Paper Mario, but Kirby and wooly stringy bits, not flat fibrous sheets. Haha.
I've been biking to school pretty much everyday. lol. Good exercise. lol. My job is abit slow, but finally the plants have sprouted. lol
Can't wait for Brooklyn VBS!!!
IT is a bit crazy. lol

Lord, to give up I'd be a fool.
So, ya.
As always I am stuck in this place where I keep making the wrong choices. I know that God is the One who ultimately satisfies, but I am still choosing other things and finding no satisfaction.
I just want to be past that. I want to be in a place where I choose God over all else. But does that happen?
This is the thing that I am dealing with right now.
I know that there are older Christians that still struggle with the same things that I do.
I know that we do not become perfect until this life is done.
But Jesus Himself says we can be freed from these things.
"To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:31-36)
You will be free indeed!
But do I believe that?
*sigh*
I want to. But I've seen so many times in my life taht I can't change it.
But that's the thing. I can't. But with God anything is possible. "Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.""(Mark 10:27)
Sometimes I get really bummed out because I see myself choosing things other than God and thinking how much I want them.
Tonight was prayer meeting.
I was praying 'Dad how can I even come before you...' and then Pastor DB started talking about how some of us may not feel like we are worthy to come before God, maybe that's why some people weren't there, but truly truly, Jesus has paid for it all. In Him we are made righteous again. God really spoke to me through that prayer meeting. Really encouraging me and giving me my hope back. Haha.
This song we sang also really caught what I'm going through. "You are My All in All"
So, ya, I'm going to take another few steps of faith and trust in God. I'm praying for a stronger relationship with God and being able to just rely on Him for everything.
D.Fa
PS.. "You Are My All In All"
"You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
Seeking You as a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I'd be a fool
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame
Rising again I bless Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I am dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all
Jesus, Lamb of God
Worthy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God

It Poured
But I didn't see it. lol
So, ya, I still haven't seen rain since April. lol. My brother argued "you saw the rain on the ground!" That's not what I meant. I meant I have not seen rain fall since April.
Ya, I watered the soy beans today after an hour or so of reading and praying and reading about the living sacrifice our lives should be and how it is through renewing our minds that we can come to that place. After that I biked to work and was there until it poured. But as I was going home the rain had stopped fully. Just enough for me to go home dry, but have the softball practice cancelled. >.>
Ya. Boring day again. lol.
My friend NYC got an interview at my workplace. xP Apparently they have personality tests now. lol 4 years, big difference.
I talked again to my Salad Bar boss and asked about if she needed me and informed her of my new schedule. lol. She says I am one of the busiest people she knows, but always has extra energy. lol.
Ya. I gotta talk to my friend about something. lol...

So, I got home at 10:15PM after leaving at about 9:15AM. lol...
Church (awesome sermon by AL about ethnicity and sacrificing it for the gospel), VBS training, M22 Kosmic Meeting / bubbletea break, readings for, Preaching course.
I really don't have anything to say. lol.
I can't wait to see the kids from two years ago!!!!!!!!! I made sure to switch to the grade 3/4 kids who I may have met when they were going into grades 1/2. I miss them. I nearly cried thinking about them. >.<

Always a busy day.
I ended up wearing my work uniform from 6:40AM until about 6:40PM simply because I forgot a change of clothes. lol. Work --> Church (Worship Leader's Book Study) --> Superstore Lunch --> Mooney's Bay hangout --> home.
It was cool. lol. Getting to spend time with AL and SM as well as KL, MK, AL, AS, NP was good. Haha.
I actually am looking forward to YA this year so much more each week that passes. Haha. My house is awesome, my brothers and sisters are awesome, God's grace is awesome, how we've all been brought together in OCBC is awesome, how we've all got a unique plan laid out for us and our years in school is awesome. lol.
Ya, so, not much to say on the homefront. I got to talk to my brother in Toronto about the project he (MK) and DP have been working on. It's like weekly meetings and outreaches in Toronto, at UoT and other places too. Apparently they have seen three people come to know Christ through this project and are praying for 15 total by mid-August, I think? So, I'll be praying for them.
I wanna see my soy beans. lol. (Being in produce / biochem has made me sympathetic with farmers. lol) They are like my babies. TT.TT

Good Works Set Out For Us
Hey guys!
(I try to keep posts shorter than longer, so that's why I've done a couple days with two posts now. Haha)
So, ya, I've been reading 1 Chronicles in the Old Testament of the Bible recently. Not the most exciting book, but there are things to learn here, which I have probably not nearly been able to grasp. lol
But, ya, one thing that I have been thinking recently is why are these people written down in these genealogies? Like, sure, some were great warriors, some had descendants who did great things, some were influential or prophets, but then there are a lot of people who didn't really do all that much.
I remember back in our old church building there was a book in the youth room about a guy called Jabez. 1 Chr 4:9-10 is about him. " Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request." That's all we know of him. His name sounds like pain and he cried out to God in faith and He answered him.
Today I was also reading and I came across a guy named Mattithiah. 1 Chr 9:31 "A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread." He baked bread. I mean of all the cool things to do in the temple of the Lord, baking bread is probably not very glamorous.
Ya, so it's just like, God considered them significant enough to put them in His word. What did they do? They served Him and brought Him glory in the things they did. The things God gave them to do.
So, ya. Even in the little things God gives us to do, we can bring Him glory!

"Oh yeah, Wait til I show you how to Copy-paste"
Hey guys!
So, tonight we had a game of softball. It was a good game. Really close. So many people were there for the game, so I only got to bat three times. Problem: I threw the bat all three times....... After the first one every time I went up everyone there told me how I needed to not throw it for a good couple minutes. So, Ya.... I caused 3 of the 21 outs. That's a whole inning with just me. >.> I had a homerun (if I wasn't called out for throwing the bat. >.>)
Ya. Haha. If only I could undo that. Haha.
Please, watch the following short film called CTRL Z. It's about 6 minutes, but it's both funny and thought provoking.
Liz in that film is absolutely hilarious.
But, ya, honestly, there are a lot of things I'd want to undo. Like tonight. Haha. But also a lot of times I had a decision to make and I chose the 'wrong' choice. These choices rang from not telling someone something, not helping a friend, supporting something I know is wrong, as well as things I've done that I know go against what God would have for my life.
But, ya, I really like that quick line that Liz says "I wouldn't. If I could undo things even the mistakes, it would change who I am, and I like me." It's really true. Absolutely everything that has happened in our lives has made us who we are now, has influenced decisions we have made, has had a unique effect on us, and yet, when you look at it, it is all part of God's plans to shape and mold you into the person He wanted you to become, part of His plan to show you who you are before Him and to draw you to Himself in humbleness and weakness.
Sure, our lives aren't perfect, but I don't know if going back would actually be able to fix the mistakes and even then we'd probably make more. "But where sin increased, grace increased all the more" (Rom 5:20b). God's grace in our lives is far greater than our mistakes and it's a 'free gift' to all who will accept it. And having done so we can call on our God to bring us to Him Jesus to forgive us, the Spirit in us to assist us in growing into His likeness as we walk with Him each day.
Ya, so I'm looking forward. Sure there were mistakes, and possibly (probably) a few more to come, I know that with God, His plans will never fail and even trials are for His glory.

Anyways, I finally got to start my volunteering job thing. Haha. I came in today and made some dilutions and planted some soy seeds. Haha. Kinda boring, but a lot of fun doing something different for a change. lol
Ya, I then stayed at school for a while planning for the Bible study I was leading later. Romans 5 is a good chapter. Haha. "We're gonna start at verse 12" "You're skipping the best part!". Haha. The discussion was good and HO was so intent on sharing the gospel. lol. We had free cake and went to the park after to play Grounders. Made me miss Scarbourough. >.<
Yep. Haha. Fun day doing Inductive Bible Study for YA prep. lol.

Not Home Today
Hey guys.
Today was a bit lame. I woke up and slept in a bit. I was supposed to go to school and do some stuff, but my boss emailed me saying he wasn't going in, so it was like pressure off. Haha. I ended up wtching like 4 episodes of HunterxHunter. >.> That's cool and all, but I have other things to do too, eh? I also ended up caught in transgression again. I think I'm gonna give up anime for a week. Fast it off and spend more time in the word and with our Dad. Ya... Haha...
Ummm. So, I went to school finally with a bag of rice. lol. I ran into NYC on the bus so that was good. I got there and found that the delivery had not come in today, so I just cleaned the growth chamber and got it programed for tomorrow. >.> lol.
Ya. Went back to my new house to cook for later tonight. It was JK's borthday so KK was preparing a surprise themed potluck. All food was either an Epic Mealtime style dish OR inspired by a Dominion card. I made three card inspired dishes: Pearl Diver, a jello and marshmallow dessert; Hoard, a curried veggie rice dish; and Golem, roasted potatoes, some in the shape of a Golem. lol. SW drove me even though he wasn't going and lives on the other side of JK's house! Thanks bro.
Ya, it was good. There were like 30 crazy dishes and we played a game of Dominion. My game had all cards I'd never played with before. lol.. Fun fun.
I've got a lot of readings to do. lol.

The Unforgiven Sin
So, today I had work at 5-10. I had talked to my volunteering boss that morning and went to my "NEW" house to clean in preparation for Thursday and also to cook a bit in preparation for tomorrow night, but, ya, mainly not much to talk about before work. Haha
So, apparently Tuesdays are really slow. Sometimes I work really hard and still have things I could be doing. Today it was the opposite, I was working slowly (because I had been walking and standing all day) but I barely had anything to do.
As always, too much time to think. I feel like God reveals to me more and more my own sinfulness when I am at work. Haha... And it stinks because so often I try to hold on it instead of dropping it and going back to God. But ya, I was thinking: sin separates us from God, and there is no sin too small as to only half separate us. Sin is sin, a single speck of sin on you and God can't be near you. A single case of disobedience caused Adam and Eve to be separated and kicked out of the garden. As I learned recently, the Quran says the same: a single rebellion caused them to be kicked out of heaven.
Point being: there is no sin too small and all have sinned. I know I have sinned. The big things are obvious, but there are millions of smaller things I don't even notice sometimes.
But this is really encouraging. Haha. Why? Because out of God's great love for us He sent His only begotten Son so that we may not perish, but have eternal life. He came to Earth, faced the same temptations, lived a perfect life, died in our place for our sins, and rose to life victorious!
Because of His sacrifice and victory He paid for all our sins. Not just the small ones we don't notice, but all of them, even the ones we think are so big that we can't tell anyone or be shamed and cast out of society for life, exiled to be alone. Those mistakes are paid for too.
So, although each and every sin is big enough to cause a separation between us and God, nothing in all of creation is big enough to separate us from His love; especially that shown through sending His Son to us while we were still sinners to pay the price and give us the chance to come back to Him.
But that's it, the unforgiven sin. We have the choice before us. If we choose to turn down His forgiveness, well, can we be forgiven?
If we choose to turn down His forgiveness, can we be forgiven?
No.
Luckily (not that luck has anything to do with it) God doesn't give us a final decision. We can change our minds, (and I'm not going to debate predestination and the doctrine of election here. Haha but I will say:) He can change our minds.
So, ya, even in my depth of sin, I know that Jesus, God, the Spirit are greater and I am free from sin in Him and will by His grace be transformed bit by bit into His image.

"Are you guarding that?" (In reference to a base)
Haha.
I slept in a bit today. lol
Other than falling and getting back up, I didn't do all that much. I blogged a bit, and got to talk to some friends I haven't in a while.
Softball practice was funny. lol. We did some throwing and flyball practice. Then realizing no bats were coming we shift into a game of soccer baseball to practice running? lol After we sang CL 'Happy Birthday' and NP did a bit of a dance. lol. SM had made cupcakes. >.> lol
Ya. Not much else. Watching cooking shows with my mom. Hell's Kitchen (which is much more dramatic and unreasonably drawn out than it used to be. lol) and the like.
My volunteering job actually starts tomorrow! Pretty excited!

Times
So, aside from the preaching course:
Today was packed. lol.
After waking up and praying a bit I had to go to church to be on the worship team. Haha. It was really good. A smaller congregation this time, but brothers and sisters all the same. RM was 'preaching'. lol. Not actually. He works with Christian Embassy and heard how we may be teaching English and doing other community involvement things and so took us through one of his English lessons. Apparently diplomats that would like to learn English can learn from the Jesus Film and the gospel of Luke. Today we did a lesson on Zac the tax collector and Jesus' dinner at his house. It was good. lol.
After we went for McDs together.
Then we bussed back. I went to work for a few hours.i got to talk with SL. He's apparently been working there for a year? I just officially met him yesterday. lol. We got to work together a bit and talk a bit. It seems that he is interested in Buddhism and nature and stuff. Praying for him. lol.
Then home for dinner and off to church.
I ended up walking home. lol. (Don't tell Pastor DB. He thinks I bussed. lol.) I got to spend a good time with just me and God praying for a lot of different things and just spending time in the quiet. I had been so deprived of time with Him and have been trying to wake up earlier to do so, but really, I realized that He is always with us, so to have a good quiet time you don't need to find the time, no special place, no music or books; you just need to find the quiet. I really enjoyed my walk home. Haha.
Ya, I needed tonight. Time reflecting on His word, time walking with Him, time interceding fro my brothers, sisters and friends, Hehe.
Gonna sleep soon I think. Haha

Psalm 79
Hey guys!
Honestly, I just had an amazing time at church earlier tonight. So, as usual, I left my homework until the last possible moment. I had to read a couple chapters of Spurgeon, do a reading, do a lot of practice reading the Bible aloud, choose a preacher to research and a psalm to present. I read like 1/10 of the spurgeon reading. That was it. lol. So, on the way to church tonight I used my phone to choose a good psalm. Well, I chose randomly. Haha. Psalm 79. I had no clue what this meant to me or what it actually meant in context. lol. I was supposed to have practiced a bit and everything. Nope. lol. I read it like 10 times tonight to get ready to present. I only read it aloud once though. lol.
It was really amazing though. After having read it so many times I started to understand the meaning. As God's chosen people, why were they getting murdered? Why not the nations that don't know God? But in every situation we are able to praise God for who He is.
I guess I've read a bit about the exiles and stuff in the Bible and about the troubles Israel went through, but those chapters are always really short, eh? Years can pass by in a couple words.
I think I've grown a new appreciation for the Psalms and the emotion they contain if read properly.
I don't think I'm really getting my point across, but ya, I think I really want to do that again. Read the word of God with emotion and meaning, not the way we mindlessly and in monotonous unison read the slides together Sunday mornings.
Thank God for revealing again the greatness of His word!

PS: Psalm 79. ESV
O God, the nations have come into your inheritance;
they have defiled your holy temple;
they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.
They have given the bodies of your servants
to the birds of the heavens for food,
the flesh of your faithful to the beasts of the earth.
They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was no one to bury them.
We have become a taunt to our neighbors,
mocked and derided by those around us.
How long, O LORD? Will you be angry forever?
Will your jealousy burn like fire?
Pour out your anger on the nations
that do not know you,
and on the kingdoms
that do not call upon your name!
For they have devoured Jacob
and laid waste his habitation.
Do not remember against us our former iniquities;
let your compassion come speedily to meet us,
for we are brought very low.
Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
for your name's sake!
Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants
be known among the nations before our eyes!
Let the groans of the prisoners come before you;
according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die!
Return sevenfold into the lap of our neighbors
the taunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord!
But we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
will give thanks to you forever;
from generation to generation we will recount your praise.

All for Jesus
"Jesus, all for Jesus,
All I am and have and ever hope to be.
Jesus, all for Jesus,
All I am and have and ever hope to be.
All of my ambitions, hopes and plans
I surrender these into Your hands.
All of my ambitions, hopes and plans
I surrender these into Your hands.
For it's only in Your will that I am free,
For it's only in Your will that I am free,
Jesus, all for Jesus,
All I am and have and ever hope to be."
"Take my life and let it be
All for You and for Your glory
Take my life and let it be Yours
Glory to God
Glory to God
Glory to God forever (repeat)"
Ya, so this morning after driving with my dad all over the place and being judged by his excel sheet checklist of things I need to know for the G2 test I had worship team practice. We sang one of my favourite songs and mashed in a bit of another song. Haha.
Truly though, I pray that my life would be all for His glory, that all I have would be for Him, that even my hopes, plans and dreams would be open to change if they don't line up with His plans. I pray that when they don't line up I would be rejoicing that I am hearing Him call me in another direction, rather than mourning over my lost efforts on my selfish planning.
Let us place our faith and trust in His plans and renew our strength and soar again on wings like eagles in His protection.
Ya. Haha. Today I moved a bunch of stuff from my room at my parents' to my new apartment. The loveseat was really hard getting it out, but getting it in was so easy. lol.
Then I had work... late again... haha...
Bored. lol. four years and two days working there. >.>

Not Home Today
So, today I was very busy. lol
I had a meeting with my brother JS at 11 and we had Quiznos for lunch. We talked a lot about what he's been doing this summer and what he'll be doing come the fall. He's going to Mexico for a week in August! Pretty intense! He's pretty busy with summer school and stuff and thinks the school year will also be very busy. He doesn't know what he'll do with P2C this year, he thinks not too much like DGLeading or anything, but I'm praying that God continues to show him His greatness through the things that happen at school. We were walking back to Meadowlands and just walking and talking and he realized we past it as we were approaching the Emerald Plaza. lol... JS. lol.
Ummm. Not too much later I had to go downtown to Bayview. lol. Back to the scene of the crime. I only had two bus tickets left and would nee more later, but there was no time to buy more. As the bus came up I prepared to pay, but the machine was broken! Yes! Free ride. xP
I was meeting up with JXW, EL, SP and CS apparently to go for bubbletea in China town. It was good catching up a bit and talking.
I had to go to Brittania for softball. I didn't pay for that bus ride either and saw AL (our coach (I did not realize how common those initials were. lol)) on the bus ride. We lost pretty bad to OCAC... But it was a good game, AdSB and RT played with us. I haven't seen them since like grade 12. lol. We hung out after the game at IKEA (ice cream ad hotgdogs and drinks) and then went to AL's and played Taboo. lol. Really hilarious.
Oh. I nearly forgot, when me and JS were talking in Quiznos this guy sitting at the other table was overhearing us talk about not needing to confess to priests or anything because we have Jesus and he said "for there is one mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ". He then shook our hands and said something nice lol and left. His name was Roman and he had a tattoo behind his right ear that was like a J and an F, but one character. Anyways, that was cool. lol.

Repentance
Yo.
Today was long. First was time in the greenhouse and Nesbitt building at school finding out what I'll be doing. Fun stuff. lol. JXW appeared. lol. "Is that your girlfriend?" "No. Just a classmate." I really don't know how to deal with her..... lol.
Anyways, back home for wasting time with my brother in front of the TV... Work 5-10. And all throughout my mind just going insane.
And so, I'm going to repent.
For the last (at least) 13 years or so I have been feeding a very bad habit. One that has definitely left me handicapped when it comes to my relationship with God and others. I could and will name all the people I have been so set on that everyone else seemed less important: A, K, C, B, P, A. These girls / women have (of none of their own fault) been dividing my attention and time. I have the very bad habit of always having someone on my mind that I treat differently, exclusively. Even while being single, I was not acting single and neither guarding their or my hearts, nor focusing on my relationship with God.

Jeremiah 7:3 ESV Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.
I want to stop splitting my focus and run as fast and as hard towards God as possible. At lest for the next little while, I want to forget relationships and live for His glory alone, knowing everything else is fully taken care of.
I don't know what I'm feeling right now though. Haha, but I pray that I'd have a peace I can't understand in all of this.

Acts 11:18 ESV
When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God,
saying, "Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads
to life."
I've never lived as a child of God without this split focus, I want to learn from Him how it is done and follow wherever He leads. May He protect me in this new journey and may I learn to live in Him and for Him. Nearly 30km of Biking?
So, today was a lot of biking.
Funny story: Waiting for a friend at Bayview station, not knowing where she was going to come from. I saw her on the other side, so (this was 15 minutes after when she was supposed to be there) I biked fast down the hil to go under the bridge to get to her. There were some people in the way and my bell didn't help, so I went to the left a bit too far and my bike kinda slid down right. I put my hands out, my hed barely touched the ground for a second. "Are you okay" they all asked. A guy actually came back from ahead to make sure I was okay. My bike is tough yo. lol. The bell broke, the chain came off a bit, and the front tire needed a realignment, but nothing else. lol I had two pretty bad scrapes on my hands and a minor scratch on my knee as well as bruises and my shoulder is real sore, but I'm good. Anyways, I bike my bike up the hill to meet my friend and we walk to her house. Half way there I explain the scenario (leaving out quite a bit. lol) and she says she'll put antibiotics and stuff on it.
So we get there and I wash my hands a bit. It was a bit stingy. lol. She put the polysporen on and I feel faint. lol. Did I mention only 3 slices of balogna, a root beer and a jello to eat all day? Probably low blood sugar and dehydrated... So, I start feeling faint. lol. Onto the floor. She had never used her first aid stuff. Haha. They gave me pomegranate juice.
All good now, kinda. lol. Had to change bandages. But ya. lol. I biked nearly 30km today. Haha.
It's gonna be weird, but I know that in all things God is good and He has His purposes set out from creation. Even this is all for the best and ya, just gotta trust that it was all for what's to come.
The house is very clean now. I got less than 4 hours of sleep last night. Add that to the list of why the story was funny. lol.
Umm. Gonna pray and sleep I think. It's late. lol.

The house is very clean now. I got less than 4 hours of sleep last night. Add that to the list of why the story was funny. lol.
Umm. Gonna pray and sleep I think. It's late. lol.

Has it been a year?
Hey! Not all that much happened yesterday, but one exciting thing really did! Haha.
I got to talk to one of my friends from East Asia. Haha. I really wanted to go back this summer, but God had other plans, so this was really exciting. I'm gonna copy-paste again. lol.
"Hey guys!!!! (Sorry for so many emails, but I'm pretty excited right now. lol)
I was just having a really great conversation with one of me and DP's friends from EA who we talked to in the Coffee Shop a couple times. He had recently broken up with his girlfriend at the time and DP shared the bridge diagram with him (the one where we are separated from God and Jesus is the bridge, the only way) and he kept the napkin it was written on. Haha
Anyways, he's going home on a train right now and I've been instant messaging him and I wanted to get to the gospel so I asked if he remembered DP, or what we talked about. He said "He believe Jesus. And you." "I think if i grow up in your country i will deeply believe". I explained that so many people in Canada don't believe and he asked "What makes you believe? I want to know". I shared about how the Bible lines up with what I see around me, the fallen nature; how I have experienced God in my life.
I told him that it isn't enough to just know of God though, you need to "taste and see that He is good"
"Trust.i will try to believe jusus .believe god. Couse i trust you. At lest I will try to believe lord"
Praise the Lord!!!
He asked about the Bible and I explained about how it is God's word.
It's like 1 am in Asia. lol. So he was getting tired.
He said "Talking next time my friend"
God is good and faithful. My friend started that conversation. I'm so glad our friends still remember us and have been impacted by what we shared last year. Keep praying for them yo!!!
Pray for the chance for me to share more with him!
Thanks Everyone!
D.Fa"
Ya. lol. God is amazing. xP Even after so long our friend remembers us and trusts us. lol.
Another thing that has just been a real blessing is that I do have so many brothers and sisters that I can share all of this with and ask for prayer from. It's really amazing being part of God's family and seeing all He does. Hehe

The Long Drive
Yo.
That's right. I started my blog post with the phrase "yo". Got a problem with that? Didn't think so.
Anyways, today was full again. Haha Church, Work, Church Course, Baby Sitting? lol
So, I was like a minute late for service, I forgot which song I was starting, but AL was preaching again. =D He was talking about ethnicity and when we can be called to keep it, even though we have gospel freedom, for the sake of telling others about Jesus. It was good. xP He used 1 Cor when Paul is talking about becoming all things for all people to save some.
After, we talked and chilled for a long time. lol. Then I lost sight of the YA and found HK and BF who gave me a drive to JC's house for lunch. RL's cupcakes were delicious. Mmmm...
I ended up running home and to work. lol. I made it right on time. Punch in at 1.
Work was boring, but I got to talk with BJ for a bit. xP.
Done at 5, I went home (but I forgot my keys. lol Only realized at like 8.) and had dinner. My dad made this really tasty meal. xP At 6:45 I got a drive to church again. On time this time for the Leadership course on Preaching. Ya... I'm gonna be preaching (not to the congregation). Not so happy about that, but it does seem like an interesting course. I look forward to it.
After that I went to Pastor DB's house. His neighbors gave him tickets to Norah Jones at Bluesfest, so he needed someone to watch AB and KB. Why not? lol It was good. They just got some pokemon cards and so they battled, but KB was kinda cheating, but AB didn't realize for the longest time. lol. They went to bed eventually after the bedtime snack. >.> But KB is really cute. lol. I read him half a chapter of the Hobbit (like my mom used to do for me) and he fell asleep. But he woke up and came and got me to read him the Action Bible to him, which we were going to do before he fell asleep. lol. He chose the story of the crucifixion and resurrection and ascension. Cool story.
I also drove the car back home. lol. My first time at night or in DB's car. lol. Apparently you shouldn't switch lanes while going through an intersection..? Okay. lol

Nothing Much
CL just reminded me to blog. xP
Hehe. Worship practice always makes me feel better if I'm feeling bad. (not that I was feeling bad. >.>)
Ya. that's pretty much the only thing I have to say about today. lol. I had a lot of nothing to do. I also did some spontaneous cleaning. I also ran out of media hours this week, so no anime until tomorrow, but tomorrow I have work from 1-5, so not much time.
I guess I also did another lesson of the online course at SCF. It was about casting off the things that hinder us and the sin that entangles, but I don't think I have much to throw off..? Maybe I need to pray about it because it's less obvious or maybe more obvious than I think..?
I'll be getting my memory card back from DZ though, so I'll have my pictures back. But not my phone. >.< Oh well. No big deal. lol

Two-day
So. I was informed in person that I didn't blog last night. lol
So, yesterday was fun. No not really. lol.
Actually, kinda fun, but I digress. lol
Anyways, I woke up at 10 or so because I knew I had stuff to do and I barely made it. I was just finishing at 11:45. I had work at 12-5, so I couldn't be late, you know? So, I left and made it and got to the punch in at 11:59. Slid my finger (still a weird feeling) and it said "You are not scheduled, see your manager." So, I went to my work schedule in the back and it said I was working Friday. >.> He said Thursday when I saw him last week. Anyways, I saw him and asked if he needed me now and he said no. I could kinda guess; him and like 3 other produce employees were there. So, I went over to salad bad and talked to JR. lol. I also did some Salad Bar work since I was distracting her. lol
So, I went back home and did some work on my presentation for YA that night. But I mostly watched anime. lol.... The League is giving me 7 hours of 'media' a week, which converted into 20 minute anime episodes is like 21 episodes a week. like 3 times more than my normal maximum. I need to get back to 1 or 2 a day, not 5. lol...... So bad.
Ya, YA was really good. So many people in such a small hot space. lol. So we went outside. lol
Good times.
Then we just chilled at BEDZ (BF and DZ's current residence where YA was being held) and ate watermelon. xP
And that was that.
Today was similar. Woke up at like 11. Had breakfast / anime. Went to work (quite boring). Went to softball. xP. So good! OCBC Lucky Ninja Dragon Chopstick Potstickers finally won a game this year! 25-15. Wow. lol. But we have to beat OCAC next week!!!!! But a lot of people are gone for a wedding. >.> BUT we can bring friends to play as long as they are non-Christian. lol. Can do!
Well, ttyl.

PS. Turkey and Vietnam!

Biking in the Sunlight
Yo. Today, eh? Pretty exciting. XP
The night seems short, but dark, but the days are so long and full of brightness. May I stop living in darkness and walk in the light. xP
Today started early (9:30) because I had a meeting (skype) with a guy from the Creative Communications team, AS. I met him briefly on Short Film Project, but he didn't really remember all of us. Haha. Anyways, it was a meeting about P2C's exciting new summer initiative to reach out to highschool grade 12 Christian students to assist in their transition to University and to present them with the choice to come alongside us as we pray and seek God's will on our campuses and see Him do amazing things. Haha So, he'll be sending me some postcard thingees for DL, CC, DZ and other highschool grads I already know and when it gets figured out he'll tell me about a camp in the Ottawa area that would like me to talk about P2C and vision share with the highschool students. Excited!!!
Next was my time on Setting Captives Free. I've signed up for accountability and to seek freedom in my life from 'habitual sins'. xP. Today's lesson was about living in the light, where all darkness is driven away. As a fungus dies in light, so does our sin that thrives so well in secrecy and guilty secrets. I also just so happened along "Sun and Moon" by Phil Wickham all about reflecting God's glory. Hehe. I then proceeded to play it on guitar (a minor third lower... SJ's voice is so high. lol)
Anyways, lol. Neeext was a trip to the Carleton Greenhouses. I got to meet my new Boss for volunteering. He's a real character. lol. He was late and exhausted from feildwork this morning and just really odd. lol He was talking a lot about hypocrisy and moral failures in society, like this movie "God Save America". lol. Sounds funny, but a lot of killing. lol I'm really excited to be working with plants and different bacterial inoculants to test yeild variation based on varying treatments. Hehe Meeting next Thursday to dscuss more spedifics of what I'll be doing.
Neeeeeeext was softball practice. So good. xP. JK / PE / AL are a crazy short-stop / 1st / 2nd combo, and NE's batting was pretty good. xP lots of fun.
Additionally one of my younger brothers responded to my confession/encourage email the other day about self-gratification and we discussed it a bit on facebook, but it was really funny how quickly he dived into it and his funny thoughts on the subject. But ya, it's kinda heartbreaking when the reality is that nearly every guy has struggled with porn / masturbation and it starts so young. I actually read a testimony the other day that said he started at the age of 6. Humans... Haha, But God's grace is so great and He wants to help us!
Anyways, lol, ttyl,

B'day in Ottawa
Yo. Today was boring. lol.
I woke up at 11:30 after having a repeat of a dream I had a while ago. It involved Hank and Bobby Hill from King of the Hill as well as me and what appeared to be AA and we were smuggling some wanted Arab guy onto a bus that got pulled over so we jumped out the window into live fire. I don't know why I ran towards the guns. After four shots at me (none hit) I gave up. lie on the ground and give up. I was in no trouble for some reason. lol. I jumped out the window, does that not make me guilty of something?
Anyways, boring day. 5pm I had work til 10 and it was just busy the whole time because there was nothing out when I got there so I had to hurry to fill the holes. lol.
Anyways, ttyl.

PS B'day is the opposite of G'day. It's an inside joke. lol.

Guilty Crown
Hey, so today was another day. lol
Mainly not much happened. I've been watching this anime called "Guilty Crown". It's really interesting. Like really. The main character has the ability to reach into a person and bring out their "Void", a weapon / item / tool based on the introns within their genome. So cool. Haha. But it's also got a good plot. I'm only on the sixth episode but so much has happened? lol. It was recommended to one of my new friends I made this summer, so I hope to share with him my thoughts and see his.
Ya. I woke up at 11:50 only so that I could eat something officially called 'breakfast'. lol. Not legalistic. I really should have been awake by then. lol The dreams you have when you are half awake are way better. lol.
Anyways, I read part of 2 Kings today and encouraged my brothers. I'm just gonna copy and paste, okay? lol (see my other post titled "2 Kings")
Ya. So, I also blogged. lol.
My mom and brother really like watching "Big Bagn Theory". lol. I do too. I watched it with them. "a spherical chicken in a vacuum" is still like the best joke ever. lol!
Recently I've been working on writing thank you letters. lol. So many. >.>

2 Kings
[copy paste from an encouraging (meaning the intention, not the result) email I sent]
Hey guys! How y'all doing? (That is how kevjumba starts his videos btw. lol. >.>)
Anyways, today I wanted to encourage you in two ways; to read the Bible and to spend time with non-Christian friends for chances to share Jesus with them.
So, obviously, spending time in God's word is very beneficial to us. Not only do we get the priviledge of reading about what God has done in the past and the ability to praise Him for that, but it is also a way that we can draw closer to Him in our own relationship with Him. As you read His word and pray, His Spirit reveals things to us. I've only been regularly reading the Bible for a couple years now, but I have managed to read the whole way through once already*. But every time you read a passage you get more out of it. Today I was reading 2 Kings, which when I think of I think "oh, a bunch of lines about how bad these kings were and just the endless cycle of them rising and falling to their sin... boring." I got to Chapter 5 about Naaman. I have read this chapter like a million times**. But is a great story of the gospel (to Gentiles no less).
Additionally in chapter 7 of 2 Kings there is a seige and a famine and there were four leperous men. So, figuring that they'll die in the city where there is no food, or at the gate by the war they decide to go and surrender to the Aramaens. If they spare them then they live, if not, well they were gonna die anyways. They go and guess what? God had scared them away by making them hear an army and so there were no soldiers in the camp. The menhad gone at dusk and found in the first tent food and treasure and so they took some and hid it. They went to another tent and found the same. "Then they said to each other, "We're not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let's go at once and report to the royal palace." They had found food to live as well as treasure. They could have taken it all and kept it to themselves, but they knew this was not right. Others are dying too. They could take it all and run since at sunrise the city would see that the camp is empty, or they could tell everyone and save them too. This is a day of good news, instead of dying they lived and had the chance to save others. In the same way we also were dying, but God saved us. There are tons of others dying. Is it right to keep Jesus to ourselves?
Thought: can you tell others about Jesus if you don't know anyone that isn't Christian?
Yesterday I spent a lot of time with a few of my non-Christian friends, a class mate, a friend I made through Frosh week last year, my future housemate in September and my classmate's friend. It was a really good time getting to hang out with them and get to know them better. About halfway through the day I got really really tempted. I mean we were downtown and that's pretty wild on Canada Day, so I just had to stop and pray for the Spirit, for protection, for strength as I spend time with my friends. It was really good. xP. The fireworks were awesome and ya, my friend saw this guy holding a sign "the wages of sin is death" and had a handful of tracts and had a young son who was kind of being made to help hand out tracts, so he asked me about that situation. We also ran into some guys handing out Million dollar bills! xP With the gospel on the back. Haha. My friends thought that was really cool (I really want one. lol). So, you can pray for my friends as I continue to look for opportunities and proper timing to keep sharing the gospel with them relationally (which is often more effective than just telling strangers the gospel (not that God can't use that as well)).
Ya, so, sorry for the long email, but even in the Old Testament there is so much encouragement both that Jesus has died for our sins and become our righteousness by faith, but also examples of how we shouldn't be keeping the good news to ourselves, but sharing it with those who also need it.
Keep Building up the Body! (and Expanding the Kingdom as God gives you opportunities!)

Optional Email Extensions:
*I felt really convicted to get on a reading plan, so the first year I read the whole New Testament and Psalms, and the following year I read the whole Old Testament. I was at C4C's WinterConference two Christmases ago at one session about 'how to read the Bible' the speaker really encouraged me 'if you haven't read the whole Bible I encourage you to get a plan and read the whole thing this year', a quick first time through. This combined with another session on 'why the old testament is awesome' about how we see the gospel even in the OT in types that are like foreshadowing of what is to come through Jesus and so I was encouraged me to read the Old Testament as a goal for the following year. And this year I'm on a Bible in a year plan. But really, the NT is made sooooo much better once you see how it has been God's plan since the beggining and you see how the whole OT points to Jesus.
**It is one of the stories for the VBS we did in Brooklyn two years ago and I had to breifly mention it when acting then Adam talked about it. Last year in Scarbourough I had to tell the story. Alicia made me read it like a million times and internalize it and be able to integrate the gospel into it (which isn't hard.) Naaman has leprosy even as a commander of armies. He has a little servant girl who was kidnapped from Israel. She tells him about Elisha the prophet. Go to him and he'll heal you! So he goes and is told, by Elisha's servant, to wash in the Jordan river 7 times. He's infuriated that Elisha didn't come to the door and wave his hands and call God to heal him. Rebuke time from his servant! "My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he tells you, 'wash and be cleansed'!" It is no big challenge. So, having been reminded that he wants to be healed, he goes and does it and is healed and praises God! In the same way our sin is a disease we cannot cure ourselves of, but by Jesus' death we don't need to do any great thing, we just need to accept God's forgiveness and turn back to Him. I think this is partially why it is so hard for people to come to know God, they feel they need to do something big to make up for it. Hence why people think other religions make sense; they need to do something to be forgiven. But God has already done it and there is no way as sinners we can ever pay for our sin!

How much more then, when he tells you, 'wash and be cleansed'!" Hey... this is Crazy...
Yep, so, yesterday was Canada Day.
We had a really good service at church. Hehe. 9:30 am. joint communion / worship. Then AL's brother gave a sermon on Noah and how he followed God's commands to build the ship exactly as told even though it may have sounded crazy, completely changed his life, it may have never rained to this point, a lot of things. But instead of changing it and making maybe a small comfortable boat, he stuck with God's plans trusting that they were the best. AL's sermon started off with an anecdote about his office and the fact that his coworkers were remarking how delightfully traditional he was in his marriage having never lived together nor slept with his fiance before marriage. In our society a lot of what the Bible says goes against our cultural norms and may seem 'crazy' and it's only going to get worse, but we shouldn't abandon God's word nor twist it to suit our purposes. Why do you think Noah followed God's plans? He had walked with God, knew His character and trusted in Him not knowing what would happen, but knowing that God knows best. We need that kind of relationship too so that we can trust in Him and see His plans through wherever He may lead us.
=D
When AL said he was gonna preach on Noah I laughed a bit because that's what he has been doing ever since he started preaching; going bit by bit through Genesis. But it was a really good and really applicable sermon, so I was very grateful that we weren't talking about 'seeking the welfare of the city' again until next week. Haha.
Anyways, Canada Day plans? Not very well planned. lol.
I went with AL, A and ML and NE to the Jazz Fest for a bit then I met NYC at Rideau at 2 and SC shortly there after. We just chilled and explored. SC was doing a competition for Buisness Frosh and so he had a sign and was supposed to take as many pictures with people as possible. He made me hold the sign up beside some girls who were giving out free hugs. I did it and then an older woman said she wanted a free hug, so I gave her one. lol... LOL...
Anyways, It was good. After about an hour we met up with JXW and her friend J(?). More random hanging around. Nearly lost NYC at one point, but ran into my brother and CV/GM/RP/JG/JA breifly while looking for him. lol.
We went to Gatineau for the fireworks. While we walked I taught NYC some Mandarin. lol. He's funny. While waiting at the museum of civilization we played 'the dot game' where you draw a line between dots and when you complete a square you get a point. I was gonna win, but NYC who was after me realized he wasn't going to win and so was kinda letting J(?) beat me. lol. The fireworks started before we finished, so no one really won. lol.
First time in Gatineau with contact lenses. So, basically the best fireworks ever. SC started playing Katy Perry when they were going on. lol.
Bussing back was terrible. lol. We got on the 8 Billings Bridge in Gatineau at 10:30. We got to Billings at 12:30... What the? We were litterally standing still at Slater/Bank for half an hour. >.< Oh well. lol.
NYC lives like a block from my parents' house, so we bussed back together. He seems to read a lot. He told me all about this series of talking cat warrior books. ..? lol. He's funny. I'm glad I got to meet him in frosh week last year. xP.
This day was really good getting to spend some time with my other friends. Haha

New House!
Today I got to see my new house. xP
I'm really excited. It's in a really good location right between school and SouthKeys Walmart (ie, my new grocery store) actually, pretty close to Billings Bridge Independent... Hmmm.
Irrelevant.
I'm really happy because I finally got to see it and it's a good size. It's got a big living room and everything. A real Kitchen! A Window in my room! My room is huge too! I HAVE A CLOSET! and we have a shower that doesn't leak! And wood paneling that doesn't have big holes in it and we don't really have furniture, but whatever. lol.
I asked our really cool cop landlord if we could have people over and he said there are two nice old ladies living on either side. Be respectful. That's what he said. People can stay over, as long as you're being respectful. Niiice.
I asked SC (my housemate) if we could have YA here sometime and he said ya. Then he asked if Emily, no, Kimberly, no MK(!) was still in YA. lol... Asian names. lol... But ya. haha.
As we were getting ready to leave he was looking up Tebow stuff. I pray that God would really be making him curious and make him have questions to ask at YA or even just ask me. I don't have all the answers, but just having an open conversation would be awesome!
So, ya, lol.
Worship practice at 7pm at the church basement since the Hispanic church has Saturday night worship..? Ok. lol
Canada Day Eve and fireworks already going off. xP.
