Yo. The last couple days have been a bit stressful. Lol. Two midterms, two lab reports and two prelabs. Plus DG. But I've made it. I'm still alive, not too deprived.
I only got like 5 hours of sleep before Monday and then walked to school for a midterm I was not prepared for. Thank God for equation sheets. XP. Then I worked so hard on the lab that was due at 2:30. The experiment was pretty fun. Well, I kinda like repetitive things sometimes. xP XP Thank God for my awesome TA letting me hand in the lab report after. I finished it at 5:15. Hehe. Dinner. DG. Yu Choy. Sleep.
Woke up and worked for the next round of labs. Biked to class. So nice. Today was really awesome.I really don't deserve all that God has blessed me with. I really felt at peace today even though I had a lab report due at 2:30 that I literally hadn't started until like 10am and a midterm at 6 which I hadn't studied for at all. I ended up printing the lab at like 2:28. I got to the lab like 2:40. I walked in and did the quiz that everyone had already started. The experiment was simple and actually really cool! (Well, part of it. lol) When you mix aniline and benzenesulfonyl chloride in 2% NaOH it makes this really cool like bubbly exploding molten Earth kind of effect under the water that produces a cloudy precipitate that reacted more when heated. xP. In the end our TA just told us to put our thumb over the test tube opening and shake it. lol. (Very Bad Technique!) It was a short lab.
Anyways, It was two hours from the midterm. I was so tempted to just jump on my bike and go around campus. It became really sunny during the day. And it was so warm and awesome. xP. It was a tough decision, but I decided to study. I got a window seat and got to it.
The midterm was pretty good. The last one was too hard, so she made this one easier I think. It was a lot of straightforward questions. Maybe the material was easier too..? In any case I was very happy that there were so many questions that I knew the answer 100%, not like cross out two then guess based on what I think should be the answer. Multiple Choice is pretty great. This was like the first time we had a class go until nearly 9 though (we have class after the midterms, what?)
We went out to China town for Pho. We = KL, JXW and EL. It was sweet. xP I want to be better friends with KL. It's kinda tough though. xP So much sarcasm and hipster-ness to cut through to get to the real KL. lol.
Anyways, I think I've gotta sleep soon. xP
LT showed us Da Jesus Book, a Hawai'i Pidgin version of the Bible.. It's pretty cool, but I don't know some Hawai'in words (only what I picked up from Lilo and Stitch (no lie)).
