Another Break

Hey!

So, I haven't been blogging recently I guess. lol.

There are good reasons for this. I had to work on updating my supporters about the Short Film Project, I had to get ready for a presentation Friday night, I ended up sharing a large amount of my testimony with RW over facebook and most recently I was in a place that had absolutely no reception. So weird. I nearly always have reception. Only on project or when I don't have my cell phone or in Northern Quebec where there were no cell phone towers, but Lanark, Ontario? lol.

It was really great. Like, I had no idea what we would be doing there, so, I wasn't really excited. I was going because I am part of that small group, Young Adults. I really enjoyed being able to spend some time away from the pressure to just be with my brothers and sisters in Christ, to have fun times together, to get to know them better, to learn more about God's word together, to eat good food together, to encourage one another. We played board games, sang songs together, taboganed and slid for far too long on a snowy hill, played with the dog, prayed together, etc. GP was with us, which is very encouraging. It's really awesome seeing how God is speaking to her and softening her heart. May He continue to show her His love and desire for her to know Him more and more.

If only there were more time. (Can't wait for heaven. hehe.)

On that note, I wanted to let you know about something. If your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out for it is better to enter into life crippled than to go to eternal punishment (paraphrased). So this week I've prayed three times actually that if I ever end up in a crazy accident and lose the ability to see in one of my eyes that I would praise God. I would not be upset about it because it would help stop (to a degree) the temptations of the eyes. My eyes wander far too often. Of course it would suck having only one eye (or none, that could happen too), but this is just the flesh. What does it really matter if in the end we are given a new body and there will be no sin, but all the goodness of God and His creation.

There won't be sickness either and I'll be able to sing songs of praise forever without having a cold or sore throat. Hehe. (I've wanted to just stop and play guitar for hours, but I'm still a bit sick and I don't 'have time')

Anyways, Ttyl.
