Supporting Role.

Hiya.

So, today I finished watching A Very Potter Sequel. Sometimes the musical is rather crude... they swear a bit, actually as a joke sometimes... and 'Mrs' Umbridge is an annoying character... but I suppose she's supposed to be... Ya... the original was funnier and less immature I suppose... Draco only rolled once!!! >.< disappointing....

Having no texting sucks... xP Today was some sortof community fair near OCAC and RL told me about it and said we should go together, but because my phone isn't working he couldn't just text me and so things messed up and I didn't go... whatever...

I saw a watermelon carved today it was so amazing!! I saw it on msn video, but it was pretty cool. go see one yourself though because I can't find the one I saw on youtube...

Anyways... Ya. I was on praise team this week. Singing with AL (AL's brother) is cool and all, but it means I can never just sing the melody, because it wouldn't be perfectly in unison all the time and octaving it would be super lame and sometimes very difficult... so I have to find a good harmony... but somemtimes it's not easy, which is when I'd just sing the melody, which wasn't usually a problem, because guys sing in a different octave then girls, but we're both singing the same octave...

Ya... I'm not sure I could be worship leader at this point. It would be cool and all, but I play a much more supportive role in most things. Like, I play bass and sing harmonies. These are easily improvised (now that I know how... xP) where as if I was leading, I should a) play guitar (steareotypically) and b) sing the melody (ie know the song...)

YF was okay. When JS is teaching he kinda, isn't teaching... It's more like forcing us to do all the work. I can understand getting us to discuss, but making us give all the answers is a bit much... like if someone says something, he could say something about it instead of just asking another question about the answer... especially when you have a group of kids with lower then average attention span and lower then average enthusiasm / energy, but ya, other then that it was cool. I also feel that he's trying to plan it too much, but whatever...

So, ya. ttyl I think I'm gonna try to bus to church tommorow morning.
