When I was at work on Monday I suddenly, for no real reason, remembered this song. All I knew was the melody, the fact that it was in a video game commercial for a first person shooter that had a giant spider in it (this is where I first heard it.) and that JB could play the song on the Melodica (Piano / Harmonica thing).
I typed "video game commercial" into google in an attempt to locate the song.
This accomplished nothing.
I then added the word "song" to the search.
You know how google gives you youtube suggestions as well as web pages..? Well, the first one was the video game commercial for Gears of War.
Despite the fact that it's a FPS (I played it with my brother for a little while once... I didn't really like it... I kept dying...), that is an amazing commercial, eh? (8 million views, that single video anyways.)

There are a lot of covers and music videos made for this song. It's a really cool song and can be used to criticize our society, so it's undersatndable that many people make these videos.

"Hel AL! Did you get my email...? xP I still don't have a girlfriend, but apperently when I was in lower grades, like grade 1 I always had a bunch of girls around me. xP (I found a book from 1998 that contained 2 pages of our daily journal that we wrote every day. The first one was a drawing of me and three girls with the writing "I LiKe Megan / I LiKe SAMThA / And SArAh A LOT / SArAh I See is GOOD AT SchooL" to which my teacher wrote "You are good at school too!" with a blue goat sticker.
