So, ya.
Today was relativley boring... I woke up at 6 to take out the garbage. I unfourtunately ended up back in bed until 10... not actually asleep, but ya...
I did a bible study on "false comparisons" this had to do with comparing to one another as the standard when the only real standard is your own faith. You can't compare with each other because we are all in a different stage in our walk, God has a different plan for each of us, and if we compare we can only feel inferior or superior which are both bad...
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer with the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will.
So, ya. Then I went out to track down this game I had played the other day. I went to futureshop, best buy, ebgames, toys'r'us, but I couldn't find it...
Then RL and I went to work to talk to the seafood manager. I had called work earlier to see if he was there. That was kinda awkward... So, ya.. it sounds like RL might get hired, but idk...
When I got home I went online to see how to get the game. It's called "Plants vs Zombies" it's pretty cool except for the fact it took over my mind for a little while because I wanted it sooooo badly.
Hehe. In the end I bought it online using my paypal account. You see, I don't have a credit card, so buying something online should be next to impossible for me. Luckily, last summer I had summer school (in an air conditioned school. xP). For summer school you register online and pay a deposit. At the end of the year it is given back. So I just happened to have 80$ in my account. Hehe.
So, now I own PvZ. I had to start over, but whatever. Now that I have it I don't have to play it right now. I have it. I can play when I want to / have time to.
I went to the weekly prayer meeting tonight. It was like 20 to 3; chinese vs english, but it was cool. My parents didn't want me bussing home though. JS an TM both biked though and everyone else I don't really know, so I had to bus, or walk, but walking from westboro to nepean is kinda far, so I chose bussing. I bussed from Dominion to Baseline, but the bus' ticket machine thing wasn't working, so it didn't cost me anything. I then walked from baseline. Just because. xP
I had brought three pages of memory verses, so as I walked home I read / memorized them aloud. There's one thing I was thinking about the past couple days... [did I mention this already..?]( Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your word in my heart so that I might not sin against you.) I have been memorizing verses, but I've been putting them in my brain, not my heart... I told this to Pastor DB and he said that you have to pray about it (or something..? memorize prayerfully..?)
So, ya... the 117, 116 and 86 all passed me as I walked home, but the 86 passed me just as I was getting to Merivale, so like, I would have just been waiting at Baseline just as long as I had been walking, so what's the difference..? It was cool walking anyways.
Ya... ttyl.
