Service Charge?!?

So.

Today was another somewhat long day.

Today I had to get a Police Record Check, so that I can work this summer and help orient the new kids at school in September, and exchange my Asian money so that it would be useful to me.

Service Charges are outrageous. lol. In Asia there's practically no price on any service. Again I need to remind myself that people aren't treated properly in Asia. Workers get absolute minimum pay and no tip or anything. Working hard all day for almost nothing. So, my paying a bit of tax or a small fee is helping a lot of people.

Anyways. I eventually went to the house I'll be living in come September and we had pasta and ice cream and played monopoly. We also talked about Asia. It was good.

You don't know yet, but you will see that I was really being tempted to do nothing and given bad attitudes and temptations to do 'that thing that guys sometimes do' and all that stuff while on project. The devil doesn't want us doing work. He definately slowed me down. I could have done way more, but God taught me a lot and sometimes the hard way is the better way to really learn things. Hebrews 12:11 "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." I hope I have really been trained and pray that the training sticks and doesn't wash away.

Ya. I'm sick.

Goodnight.
