His Invitation Goes Out to the Nations

Yo.

It's a little crazy that in the last few days since being back from Urbana I've been able to share the gospel with four people. First was my friend 'Samson' in East Asia, then my mom, and today I got to meet up with J(?) and R(?).

J(?) and R(?) are Masters students from China and they got to meet up with AS and DB back in September and are really interested in coming to church. So today me and DL met up with them at Timmies on campus. It was a really awesome conversation. We used the 'Soularium' pack of photo cards to discuss life and who God is. It was really great, and I just got this idea to do a gospel presentation with the cards. I had never done that before, but it was really good. I think they really liked it. Their English was not the best, but it was good and I think they understood everything we talked about.

After I got to share with DL the one thing we hadn't talked about yet, sharing Jesus with others. I had hoped to get to it before the break, but it hadn't worked out, so after having that meeting I talked to him a bit. He's actually already inviting his roommate to church tomorrow and was really happy to share the joy we have in Christ with others! I actually shared about one of my friends in East Asia and like he was tearing up a bit at the end of the story. After accepting Christ she exclaimed "I'm your sister!" and gave us a big hug. I miss her.

But ya. Today I was thinking a bit about why I don't feel called to Asia, despite how much I want to go. Like, the cool thing is that God is doing so much in Asia, and even without being there I am meeting friends from China here, and my friends in East Asia I am still talking to. But I want to go back to Asia so badly...

Anyways, I also got to share about Urbana with R(?) and J(?) and how like, I'm really looking forward to Heaven where there is no sin, no disease, no evil, just eternity with God's goodness and worshiping Him with the multitude from every nation, tribe and tongue. And that was what Urbana was like. 16 000 of us from over 100 countries singing His praises in like 10 languages. I seriously cannot wait for that day.
