By a series of somewhat random events I ended up watching this video on youtube.
TWO DOOR CINEMA CLUB, WHAT YOU KNOW
It's kinda really catchy. The first thing I thought when I heard it was "Why are british people so good at singing?" Then I started thinking about what the video / song actually means. They are an indie band under kitsune records (a french company with a japanese name, what!? and they are british!?!?) At first I was thinking that all the girls were the same because maybe they are making a statement about how all girls look the same, which I later rethought into girl's try to look the same to fit in, which is kinda mentioned in the chorus. (I don't understand any of the verses or that random shot to the girl with the feather crown thing..? lol. it's indie. deal with it.)
The dancing is, I would actually say very regular, especially because they are not synchronized, but the visuals in the video are very interesting in general.
In any case, I really don't understand the video, but what I got is that everyone sees clearly that no one wants to be alone. Everyone wants to fit in, have friends, be in relationships with other people, not even 'romantic' relationships, just friends/family. We all crave this acceptance and community. Well, I don't think I can say that, but I know pretty much everyone craves it. I certainly do.

You Are The Only Exception~
So, just because I was procrastinating and stuff I finally got around to searching for the song that JB and EM sang at the Christmas assembly at MHS. They were so good. I think they were actually better than the original. xP I miss EM.... xPPP
So, ya. Here is the original "The Only Exception" by Paramore.

This is a common thing in our society; 'love' that isn't real, 'love' that fades away, 'love' that is so based on appearances that it doesn't last, 'love' that isn't worth all the heartbreak and trouble, 'love' that is so superficial, 'love' that ends up making you lose trust in anyone, 'love'.
There is only one real love, one exception to what we see in the world. A love that is unchanging, unconditional, eternal, infinite, personal, unfailing, worth more than anything, the only important thing, the thing we all crave, the thing we all search for, the thing we all need, and the sad thing is that it is freely offered, but everyone looks over it or rejects it before actually seeing how great it is. The 'love' we search for without God, isn't really love. For without God, who is love, we don't really have love. We only have a fake 'love' which many believe is love until it falls apart at which time they give up on love.
God's love is so great for us that He would even die on a cross for us. He would come down from heaven and walk with us. A love so unimaginably large that we can't even get our heads half way around it.

Vanity of Vanities.
Hey.
You know, life is short and nothing under the sun satisfies our cravings.
Video games either last a week, so you get the next one or they continue for a very long time so you keep leveling and playing. They don't satisfy your craving for entertainment fully. You play and are entertained until you stop playing or the game is over.
Sin does not satisfy. It may satisfy for a few breif moments, but then you're left in a worse position spiritually and emotionally. After the euphoria of sin you are left with the guilt and shame and self-loathing feelings.
Material possesions do not satisfy. You always want something bigger or better and once you finally have it there is something even more desirable to obtain.
You build these things up in your mind as the best thing ever; you need them. But once you have them its not enough.
Soloman back in his days tried everything under the sun to feed his cravings; women, money, possesions, power. But nothing under the sun could fill these cravings, nothing could satisfy this desire for more.
If we have these cravings, cravings forn control, power, love, escape, justice. Shouldn't there be something that will fill these cravings..?
