So, I am never home for dinner, eh? Haha.
Sunday I had work until 6 and Preaching course at 7.
Monday I had work.
Tuesday I was at the Chinese Class at church.
Wednesday I had dinner at the works after VBS.
Thursday I was at YA.
Friday I had work until 7 and then (after quickly eating leftovers) went to JC's for board games and stuff.
Today I have been invited over for dinner by my friend's parents.
So here I am. Haha. Downstairs at a friend's house blogging as he plays HoN. Seriously... This is, like, heartbreaking. I don't know what to say to get him off this laptop and actually do something. Playing video games should be for leisure, on the side of what you actually do. When all you do is eat, sleep, gym, video games, there is a problem.
When did this start and how can he be satisfied with this?
I played for hours and hours on Maple Story, but it was just repetative keyboard typing and mouse clicking as pixels moved from one part of the screen to another and other pixels disappeared. This was on one character then another I think I had gone through about nine characters. I was a guild leader and had played for a couple years.
When gaming became so important that I was actually scheduling guild events.
The game was taking over my life and seriously it was accomplishing nothing. I was sitting in front of a computer screen wasting time making numbers increase and 'making friends' I have never heard from again nor ever will.
So I'm pretty good not playing any more MMORPGs.
I don't want to sit by as the world passes by. I want to follow God where He leads and live the life abundant and be used for all He has planned.
So, ya... It really hurts to see him playing so much as the world passes by. I'm praying for him every week that God would change his outlook and help him see how meaningless and fleeting and unfulfilling it is. May God call him powerfully and change his life; save him.
He's at a friend's now, or rather he is with a friend. A birthday.
So, the point I was talking about earlier. My parents think I'm not eating enough or that I am paying for a lot of meals, so my Dad is giving me food money. Haha
Ttyl.
