"... Then it's Sport!"

Hey guys!

4 down 1 to go and I am free from second year. And obviously this is the time to be wasting my life on youtube. >.< Honestly  I have wasted a lot of time there today.

Sometimes on youtube there are videos of other people playing videogames. This is not an appealing concept to me. My brother on the other hand will watch them. Primarily these videos that my brother watches (or at least the ones I have seen him watch) are of funny British people playing games from the N64 system, games we played when we were younger. This is appealing to a degree. Funny British people? Yes. Games I am very fond of, but can't play? Yes. My favourite medium for wasting time? Yep...

The thing about that is that I am very much about not spoiling the fun in the games I play or anime I watch or movies I want to see. In other words, I don't want to have any spoilers take the fun away. The fun of not knowing the next plot twist. The fun of trying to work out what I need to do to move the story forward. The fun of being surprised at a new event. So I generally avoid walkthroughs, play throughs, the manga of the series I'm watching or like replaying things.

However. That is not what happened today. Not exactly. No. A bit different.

I ended up on youtube watching a video of a guy doing a 'speed run' of 'Ocarina of Time' that abuses game glitches. So he actually skipped like a third of the game or more, and for the sake of speed ran backwards / jumped sideways the whole game. So for 2 hours and 40 minutes, he didn't actually play much. The majority was him running backwards and cut scenes which were not skipped or sped up. The thing that bugs me though is like, he skipped like the water temple and fire temple and so much of ganon's castle and so much stuff. He glitched into the Spirirt temple at 15 minutes gameplay, got bombchus and beat the dodongos in like 2 minutes. He only paid for like three things, the deku sheild, a game of bombchu bowling and fishing. He used a fish to hold down a switch!!!!! >=O Crazy!

Anyways, I felt like I wasted a lot of time and the second I was done I was walking like triple speed. lolll

So, my friend was playing a beta version of Diablo III today. Additionally I read a blog post about him playing Fire Emblem for the fifth time... (and so I'm blogging. Ha.)

I can't replay a game until I forget largely about it.

I can't rewatch Korean dramas. I tried once. I knew what was gonna happen because all the plot twists are so sudden that they really aren't forgotten.

I don't like redoing things.

But there's one thing that although it is the same, it is so much more every time. God's love and forgiveness everytime I mess up. Sure it's the same, He never changes, but it's new each time as much as I feel terrible for whatever I've done, I know more and more how great His love really is and I can try again, asking Him to help me, knowing He wants to and that when we ask, we receive.

So, ya. xP

Ttyl.
