OCBC Wedding

So, hey.

There are a number of things I could talk about, but I will limit the discussion to two main topics. The first topic is about first and last times.

So, I have had a very limited range of experiences, I think. I mean, I haven't ever been on a plane, been to Salem Storehouse, been to Anime Stop, driven(a real car), crossed the provincial border for the sole purpose of consuming alcoholic beverages legally, or had a full time job. However, this week with moving and stuff, there will be a lot of firsts and oddly, a couple lasts, at least for now.

A few firsts: moving(Aug 30), getting a bus pass (even though I only first bought bus tickets myself a couple months ago...), using a bus pass (Sept 1!), going to a wedding, broke a string on a tennis racket (yay!! my brother breaks them all the time because he 'hits too hard'), and going to university!

A couple lasts, at least for now: mowing the lawn, using bus tickets, having a window in my room (>.>) [it turns out I do have a window. so happy about that. xP] , and getting rides everywhere from my parents [I'm still getting a lot of rides, but it's a different attitude. More like "Can I drive you anywhere? Please."].

I guess some things are changing now... and I don't know what I'm feeling... it feels like I'm not feeling anything... but ya, the second topic is this: there was a wedding today.

For a couple and a half years now, I've gone to OCBC YF and other stuff. That is how long I've known KC and JK, or should I say Mr. and Mrs. J and KK. They were always the cool YA I looked up to (before I knew the younger YA, but I guess they are more like friends now. hehe) Today was the first wedding I've ever been to. It was warm. It was in a place in the middle of nowhere. It was emotional. It was fun / funny.

I was looking for a new youtube video to post. I typed "big bang" and this was the first song in the list:

Hehe. Wedding Dress by Tae Yang from Big Bang. The lyrics do not really relate to the situation of J and KK though... xP I mean, JK didn't just sneak into KC's life and sweep her away from some other guy or anything. He has spent a lot of quality time with her and they are always having fun. I hope their marriage lasts forever and that they can grow spiritually, encouraging each other every step of the way. I'm really glad I was invited and even working this morning isn't bad if you think of how cool the wedding was. If I had to miss it to work I would have missed something amazing.
