Ok, so.
This morning I woke up. There were empty beer bottles all over the place. Honestly... they were not there when I went to sleep... 0.o Where did they come from..? Apparently there was a "social gathering" last night at my house after I went to sleep. Unfourtunately for RL who had stayed up playing video games, they were too loud, so RL couldn't go to sleep until 4 am.
We both woke up at like 8. We didn't have to leave until like 10. He was going to go back to sleep, but I persuaded him not to. I mean, you feel more tired if you go back to sleep. In this free time RL learned how to tie a tie from google / youtube. He was going to be Tae Yang for Halloween. He had a dress shirt, a vest and a tie and everything.
KC came to OCBC today. That was cool. Being worship leader for the first time was cool. J(?) from my DG was also at church. He's in the Asian Christian Fellowship thing that DZ is in. He was also with this other guy which I thought was very familiar. He is in my MATH class and I was so sure he was that I talked to him. So, that's cool. Another asian friend! AND he's christian! score. xP I will work on that. I will soon have 3.5 asian friends in my MATH class.
Anyways. After church we missed the 95 barely, so we took the 96. We ended up at PineCrest station or something like halfway to kanata..... I had to be at work in half an hour at that point. We managed to take the 96 back to Queensway then the 86. KC lives near St. Laurent which made me wonder why we met at Baseline. That's a long way to go just to go halfway back.
So, like. It is possible for me to complain about a lot of things and it is also possible for me to brag, but I don't want to be that kind of person while at the same time I kinda want to. Do you ever feel like you want to do something, but you don't want to at the same time..? I think I inheirited the ability to complain from my dad. He will often complain about the smallest things... Like once there were, at most, like 5 pencil crayons slightly spead out on the living room floor. Or once there was rolling thunder and he thought that the furnace was making those noises. Actually my dad almost always / maybe half of the time thinks that noises are coming from our furnace when they are almost always not.
Anyways... Pumkin Spice Dougnuts are tasty and about a month from Dec 31 2099 I will be 108 years old.

Oh. Snow. Oh No!
So, ya...
Today I seemed to have done some work. Not nearly as much as I had hoped to, but it's a start I guess. I'm almost done my BIOL lab... xP......... That means I still have all of my CHEM lab, a BIOL quiz, my PHYS lab and hopefully some CHEM readings to do.
Anyways, today worship practice was interesting. I was 'leading' and it's gonna be my first time tommorow. So, ya........ xP
Then we had a worship leader study.
Then we had 'Saturate' which is our monthly night of worship for all YF / YA. SB and MM shared a testimony with us. I didn't actually really get to talk with MM, but I don't know what I would say...
So, this is the point where I would type up that testimony I had lost and then found, but I have once again misplaced it... xP
Anyways. When AL first invited me to YF, we did this 'Alpha Course' and MM and SB were my group leaders. MM has been a missionary in Cambodia on and off for a long time, so right after Alpha he went back to Cambodia and I havn't seen him since.
You know, a lot has happened in the last couple years. I noticed today. Especially when Pastor DB said "Dylan's going to be a discipler!"
Since grade 10, I have gone from knowing pretty much nothing about faith and christianity, to the Alpha course at YF, to going to church, to joining the worship team, to graduating to YA, to being baptised, to sharing the gospel with stangers, to being worship leader, to helping someone accept christ, to becoming a discipler. "Can you believe that quiet kid is now singing on the worship team?" It's like I've gone from knowing nothing to being able to teach others. While still actually not knowing anything. There's a lot more for me to learn, a lot more for me to surrender to christ.
A couple of weeks ago I was thinking "Whoa. in like two years or something I'll be leading a DG like TM or RM. That's so soon!"
Apparently that's not soon enough.
God does crazy things sometimes.
Anyways, it snowed. !!!! It's winter TT.TT so sad... now I should probably wear a coat / get shoes that are meant to be worn in cold/wet weather.

"Toothless!"
So, hey.
I am now laughing at something that has happened in my house.
So, there is only one shower in our house and five guys. This is often problematic in the morning. So, I would have a shower and then eat breakfast and then brush my teeth. However there would often be someone having a shower, so I would be unable to brush my teeth. Ewww.
So the other day it hit me. Why not put my toothbrush in the other bathroom..? I would never have to wait for someone to get out of the shower.
So I moved my toothbrush.
Yesterday I noticed a second toothbrush in the other bathroom.
Today there is a third.
It's just funny. XP.
You'd think that after living here for a while you'd have already thought of this.
lol.

Have You Ever IV
Have you ever stayed up until 1:30 playing guitar when you know that you have to be at school for 8:30..?
I deffinately didn't have to stay up that late. I just wanted to make sure the setlist was done by today so that everyone could figure out the keys or whatever.
A reason that I stayed up so late was that I needed to see which key I was going to be singing each of the songs in... I don't really know how to transpose... XP I know how to transpose when I'm not the melody, I just sing harmony in whatever key they are singing in. And I know how to transpose on paper or when I play bass I can sight transpose, but I don't know what key I was singing in...
So I mostly just sang for a few hours... XP... I also learned a few chords for guitar.
So, ya... I almost decided to skip CHEM again. It's just so easy... You get 2 more hours of sleep, all the CHEM lectures are video taped and I was going to be late anyways...
I wasn't late actually.

1 John 4:19
Hey.
I could not wake up again.... I didn't get out of bed until like 7:20. xP
Pro-tip: Oatmeal is a very fast meal to make. This is especially true when there is a kettle in your house. You can put the kettle on and do other things in that time, which is very short, and then eat oatmeal.
So, on the bus this morning I scrambled to read a text book and write down equations. I then went to my PHYS tutorial a couple minutes late and did my midterm (pretty easy, but I just don't understand elevator problems...). In the remaining two hours of my class time I went to Loeb Cafe and did some more Worship related things. Yesterday AH and VS were at our house and we watch "How to Train Your Dragon" (It is still very good) and talked and played ping-pong.
Apparently VS has difficulty singing without adding twang to the song. If she ever became a singer, it would have to be country music. She even does this in church apparently.
In an attempt to find songs for this weekend I have been asking people what their favourite worship songs are. I also looked for the song VS supposedly (as in I may have heard incorrectly..?) twangs to. It's cool. It's actually really cool.
So, ya. I only have like 3 of the 5 songs for Worship right now.... but all this time just listening to music, reading lyrics, singing to myself, praying, reading the bible in search of 'call to worship' passages, etc. has been really cool.
Anyways. I talked to KC today. We had MATH class together then we went to a med school workshop on applications, then we walked for a bit and I shared with him. We didn't sit down anywhere, we just walked through the tunnels. People were going by, it was echo-y and it seemed to me to be ... idk. xP. It was cool. It was kinda like sharing in front of a bunch of people. Everytime someone went by I'd be saying 'Jesus' or 'faith' or something.
I won't be going to Sunday school this weekend. I'm meeting KC at Baseline station around 10.
I should thank you guys for your prayers.
Thank you.
I should thank God too.
Oh heavenly Father, Lord, I thank you for just being in my life, that I may know you, that I can sing your praises. Lord, I thank you for pushing me outside my comfort zones and Lord, I thank you for sending your son to pay our debts. We could never pay them ourselves, no matter what we did and by your mercy, grace and justice we have been freed from our slavery and brought into a relationship with you. Lord, I thank you that you can work through me and through all your children to reach out and bring other brothers and sisters back to you. Lord, it isn't by our strength that we can bring others to you. It's not by our works that we can save others. It's not by our words that their hearts are changed. It is all because of your power and love for us that we can live a life in which we can know you personally. Lord, I pray for KC that he would grow and that you could show him more than I could ever tell him. Lord I pray that in everything I do it is for your glory. Lord. Thank you.
Anyways. Ya, I should be working on this set list / cleaning the kitchen / making supper..? / idk.

Follow-Through
So, hey.
It is 5 minutes until my 'FILM test' and ya, I don't really care about this. xP... I keep hearing it was really easy and I did study, so it shouldn't be that bad, right?
Anyways... I never got around to sharing per se... At 4:30 I went and walked around looking for someone to share with. I kept thinking "No, I only want to talk to one person", "Oh, they look busy...", "Hmmm..... maybe not them..." or other stuff.
I kept walking around and I ran into YA nad RM in the food court. I do feel like I should share with YA eventually, so I stopped and hung out with him. I don't really talk to RM very much, so it's kinda awkward being around him... xP They went home on a bus. So I lost half an hour.
So, I went walking around again and I ran into BC. Literally. Almost. I was walking around a corner downstairs in the Unicentre and he was also doing the same but in the opposite direction. I hung out with him for like an hour. I invited him to this C4C thing on Friday. It seems that Friday nights is abad time for C4C events because there is usually a party of some sort, especially because it is Halloween on Sunday.
So, ya..... It was an hour until my test when BC went to his Music midterm.... Not really very much time... So I went to the building of my class and was going to talk to someone there, but there was no one alone or not busy. Just people cramming for the FILM test.

Atomic Bonding Theory is pretty cool. Physics is boring. Meiosis is the same as it's always been.
Aside from that I've been trying to do something about the set list for Worship this week. I'm going to be leading for the first time...... I just don't know what to choose. Every song AL chose last week is a song I could have chosen. I know that doesn't matter. >.>
So, I've been listening to worship songs all day and aside from the previously mentioned reason there are a couple other reasons. On Monday at work S(L?) asked if I knew of a band called "Seventh Day Slumber" and she said I should listen to them. Also, I have been meaning to make a Worship playlist. xP (And you Have to keep promises you make to your blog, yo.)
The last few times I tried making a playlist it wouldn't save, so I lost the playlist and I hate recreating things....
So, ya. I decided to add one or two songs at a time to make sure it saves and to have a playlist in existance.
I also don't know whether AW will be playing guitar or piano. Neither are really a favourable choice if I intend to play a new song this week...
Anyways, I've been 'studing' for my 'FILM test' and not really doing much... I intend to go sharing today. MB forgot and RM is busy...... I may end up going alone, but I might go with CW. Either way, I want to make sure I go. By 4:30 I will go. For sure!
I found this song while I was on youtube. I started at 7th Day Slumber and following the suggested videos I ended up here. Kinda like the wikipedia game, but about 3-4 minutes between each click... >.> So, ya. A Million Miles by MercyMe:

I'm Pretty Sure That Busses Suck.
So, ya.
I left the house half an hour later than usual today. This happened because I just could not stay out of bed....... I kept sleeping 10 more minutes for like and hour.... XP...
Then I decided that I should make lunch. So I did. It looks really funny.... XP... A sandwich and a giant carrot in a ziplock container.
Anyways, normally I take the bus that is two busses early so that I get there like half an hour before I have to. Ie. I would still get there on time, if it were not for the bus being nonexistant and so I was forced to take the later bus..........
Ya. I'm gonna be late. Grrrrr.
Whatever. At least I'm not skipping (which I could do because the lectures are recorded.)
so. Ya...
I don't understand pomegranates. They just don't make sense to me. How would such a weird 'fruit' ever come into existance..?

Before BIOL
Hey.
So, I felt like biking to school today. So I did. It took longer than last time, but I didn't go the same way. I went along Viewmount until Fisher instead of just going on Meadowlands. I saw Mr. RT biking to school...... xP.......
Right by Bethel an older lady waiting at the bus stop asked me if I had the time. She had apparently forgotten her watch at home. It was 7:33. I thought that I would be at school very close to that time.
My legs hurt. xP
I've also finished blog stalking JB and now I have nothing to do in my free time...
I should get going soon...
So, yesterday I had school until 1 and 4-11 I had work, but yesterday was also the day of the Mayoral elections, so I had to vote at some point. I went on the way home. It was my first time actually voting. "You know how a Scantron works?" So, I have voted, but I have not driven. Should that not be how it works..?
So, ya. My DG (Discipleship Group) was last night 6:30-8 or something. I couldn't go... >.> At like 5 or so I heard "Dylan to the Bakery. Dylan to the Bakery". RM (my DG leader) had come to say hi and breifly talk about what was going to happen in DG and stuff. That is pretty cool I think. (He does live just across the street from work, but whatever. xP)

Have You Ever III..?
Have you ever voted without knowing anything about who you were voting for..?
Well, I kinda just did... XP....
I had really only heard anything about the mayoral candidates from my parents and my brother. I only knew that no one likes the current mayor, the Andrew Hayden (who named the park) had some plan for busses and that my parents were both voting the same way...
I knew nothing about the councillors or the trustees...
xP.... Whatever... It's one vote.

The Leaves Win!!!
So, hey.
Today was cool.
I had church this morning then we went 'leafing', in other words we raked leaves for some people who live by the church.
I may be too much of a perfectionist sometimes and possibly also too mechanical when I do things. So JS, RL, R(?), AL, DZ and JC are working on the front yards of two houses. I worked on this one house's back / side yards. I made like 10 piles of leaves. We didn't have enough bags for it.... xP It took like 3 bags for most of it...
There were like 7 bags of leaves for that one house. (She probably needs 2 more. xP So fun.)
We had pizza before leafing.
When I got home I was gonna do some homework, but there was lots of time and I was almost done a book, so I decided to read it. Around 4:30, 3 guys walk into my house. None of them were my housemates, which just happened to not be home, so I had to fend off a gang of beatniks which were searching to swipe a free meal off some sucker who forgot to lock their front door. I used my super ninja skills that I learned from my former teenage genius slash secret agent friend JB and pwn'd them all.
They had called for back-up, so it ended up being 8:15 when I was done with them all. RL just walked in the door completely unaware of the gangster war that had happened in our house moments ago.
Anyways, if you are unknowledgeable about sarcasm or wild stories, there is a blog you should read entitled "Sometimes Logic Eludes Me" located here: http://juliebainard.blogspot.com/. It is written by JB and I am almost done reading all the old posts. I only habe 10 more posts until I get to the current posts. A number of posts deal with the unimaginable happening to a seemingly average Carleton student and her wild McDonald, Smartfood, Coke and nap-taking addictions.
Speaking of naps... After I had finished reading that book, which I finished reading in my room because the piles of unconcious gangsters all over the first level were in the way, I kinda fell asleep by accident. I awoke an hour and a half later and could no longer hear anyone downstairs, so it turned out really well, until I fell asleep before going downstairs... In the end, I woke up 4 hours after I fell asleep... I kinda have some stuff due Tuesday.......
Me and RL are gonna watch OP at 9, so I havn't watched any anime yet today. I increased the anime toll to 4 chapters per episode because three chapters was getting to be too easy now that I only have 4.5 series that I am watching, so I only have to read like 2 chapters a day to watch 3 of them and I always read at least 1 chapter so it's not that bad. At the same time anime is no longer taking over my life, so I don't think increasing it any further would really accomplish more change. It would just stop anime altogether and I wouldn't be reading any more than one chapter anymore.
So, ya. I've had a lot of candy in the last couple days. xP...
I'll ttyl.

PS. I really thought Singapore was somewhere near Italy for a really long time and I will still say it even though I know it isn't. In other words, Singapore is so cool no matter where it is on a map!

Of Bikes and Midterms.
So,
These last couple days have been up and down. Up and down mount Tiverton to be exact. It seems that my posting has been procrastinated by a series of more pressing matters / unfourtunate circumstances. I either have tried to start blogging and my laptop kinda restarted or I really had to study for my CHEM midterm... but in my free time while I should be studying Friday I biked to school after bussing home for lunch.
So, ya.
Yesterday was the first time I'd biked anywhere in like 7 years or something.
1. It is true, you never forget how to ride a bike.
2. You don't get any better at riding a bike by not riding one for 7 years.
3. Your legs really hurt after riding a bike to school after not biking for 7 years.
4. I'm still not good at going up hills on a bike.
5. Riding a bike on the roads is soooo scary.
6. It's kinda cold. My head and hands were kinda cold after biking.
7. I still am really scared of taking my hands off the handles.
8. My parents didn't like the fact that I had biked without a helmet.
9. My mom bought me a helmet.
10. I have a bike lock so that I don't have my bike stolen again.
11. It's like being able to 'drive' a two-wheeled car without a license.
I actually just went to buy milk. With my bike it takes like a couple minutes. xP
So, ya. Friday I had CHEM at 8:30-9:30, PHYS 10:30-11:30, a CHEM tutorial 11:30-12:30 and a CHEM midterm 6:30-8:00. Some people studied in every spare moment they had. I just cannot study on the day of tests/exams. I just can't. So, I went home at like 2 so I could eat something before the midterm. I decided to bike back. I actually had the chain get off the gears like a block from my house... xP After that everything was cool... except the hill and the fast cars flying by me.... xP
Anyways, the midterm was okay. Short answers had a lot of random stuff because our prof is really into atmospheric chemistry, but other than that everything was okay. Just before we started the proctor was like "If any of you has a cell phone on your person, you are currently in violation of the standards for exam writing. If this is the case, please stand up, walk to the back of the room and put them in your bags quietly." Half the room stood up.
After the midterm I went to CW's and we hung out. We had pasta, played Forza (I completely failed at it...... I could not go like 20 seconds without crashing and I was always spinning..... xP...) and just talked with JS and DK. They talk about really weird things.... xP
I biked home and got home at like 12. I did not go home the same way I went to school though. I went around by Viewmount on the way back. xP Much flatter.
This morning I woke up at like 11, read a book for a bit, finished rewatching 'Amelie' and then I went to my parents' for lunch (and other reasons like getting the rake for tommorow and getting new glasses, but a large reason was the free food. xP)
I probably have stuff to do, but just chilling once in a while is okay, right?
Did I mention the 'worship potluck' on Thursday for YA..? Again I failed at bringing anything, but some of the other stuff they shared was really cool and I helped sing the songs CW was playing on guitar although everyone was kinda.... >.>
JS was saying how he feels that we are his brothers / sisters. Like really I think of RL as a little brother and CW as a big brother. I havn't really been missing my parents or brother too much... I know that sounds bad, but I guess it might be because a) I do see them every once in a while and b) I have another family, the church. It really should be all one family... >.>
Anyways, this is my new favourite song at the moment. I enjoy whistling to it in a really high pitch. xP

Tae Yang Imposter
So, ya.
I just got home.
My housemate RL is having his hair cut at the moment.
He's had Justin Beiber hair for a long while and he is now getting his hair cut like Tae Yang from Big Bang which is quite a difference. Like a good number of inches of hair.
*snicker*
[I have yet to look at it directly though. I find the situation very funny. I also anticipated that if I told him that I wasn't looking at it that he would try to get it within my feild of vision. lol. He did.]

that I know, even a vague knowledge of them.
So, ya. I don't see why girls need to wear make-up... Whenever a friend of mine wears make-up when they usually don't it kinda... it's like it's not them. It's like they are trying to be something else, someone else, but I don't know why... I like them for who they are, not what colour their eye shadow is.
My chem lab partner, NF, the asian(xP), goes to EACO. He didn't know about C4C.
Sometimes we often take for granted the things we see all the time or the things that go without recognition.
It is the combination of a great many little things that makes a big thing, so you should payvmore attention / thank God for it.

in Amelie's life have wound up in and how she ends up helping them in very round-about, often very hilarious, premeditated schemes because she was never very good at interacting with people.
I couldn't pay attention to anything but the movie. In FILM class you're not really supposed to watch the movies, but rather you're supposed to view the techniques implemented in the film. I watched the movie. I enjoyed the movie. I laughed out loud. I almost cried.
The narration is very funny.
Anyways, I sat with P(?) today instead of J(?). I saw him and, honestly based on my first impression of him, wanted to be his friend [so I kinda ditched J(?)... xP I felt bad about that...]. But I'm so bad at small talk... XP...
I saw my prof today. Usually I am far enough away that I don't see him clearly, so I saw him and his hair and his nose and I thought 'bird'.
I don't know... XP....
So, ya. I don't have work on Sunday. I'm going 'leafing' with the YA.
I want more friends.
I hate being alone in a crowd... Just being with someone else... Anyone else

So, ya.
I just watched this really uplifting movie in FILM. Like, it is just a really cool movie. It is super funny, very ... I don't even know how to describe it, but I fell really good now. [The name of the movie was Amelie btw.]
Yesterday I was in a terrible mood.
Sometimes I get in this mood where I question what I am doing and how I think. Like I got really fed up with work for no good reason. I felt that just because I had a shift Sunday night that I should quit my job. I felt that work is taking away all my time with my YA friends when really I spend all my free time with them...
I felt that I should tell my boss that I didn't want to work Sundays anymore, which is true, but at the same time there are never enough people to work on Sundays, so I didn't request that... Then I thought "why do I never stand up for myself..? Is it wrong to be selfish..? Is it really being selfish to not want to work 20 hours each week..?
When I am at work, far too many thoughts go through my head.
When I am at work, all my energy

So, when I woke up, it was pretty cold. The shower was nice and warm, but afterwards I was so cold.... XP.... I sat down on my bed and looked at my blankets. "Aw. My blankets are so warm.... But I have things that I have to do now (like eat cheesecake. XP)... I can't do anything if I'm wearing a blanket... ... No. I am not going to get a Snuggie... That is too ridiculous." So I went and ate breakfast.
Also, I just rode a bus for 10 minutes because I was too cold and couln't wait for the 117... So now I am waiting for it at Fisher...

Do You Ever II
Do you ever try to wake up early and end up sleeping in..?
This is often the case for me, except not usually quite to the extent expressed on the question. Usually if I have to be somewhere I will plan to wake up an hour earlier, plus 20 minutes for changing clothes, 20 minutes for a shower, 20 minutes for breakfast and if I have something else to do even earlier.
So I have class at 8:30 every morning so I wake up at about 6:30 every morning.... However, I have to print some stuff, so I woke up at about 5:15... I didn't get out of bed until 6:15, according to my alarm clock.
My clock is actually set 10 minutes fast, but there was a reason for that. I thought that seeing a later time would make me hurry, which it did... For a while. Then when I saw it I'd be like "it can't actually be that late can it..? Nah. It's 10 minutes fast. I can sleep in."
So, ya... Not very helpful anymore and if I changed it back, I would be late for everything...

Long Days
So, ya... I usually have long days, but when you can't remember the first half of it... xP... So, ya...
This morning I tried to wake up at 4 and failed. I woke up at 5, saw my clock and then hurried to get ready for work. You see, my boss accidentally scheduled me Sunday morning 6-1. I have church 11-1, so I arranged to work 5-10:45 then get a ride to church.
So, ya. Waking up that early after going to bed at midnight kinda sucks... I finished my work by 10, so I helped out in Salad Bar. Yuss. Now that it is a separate department they have more work and everyone there is a rookie, so I can easily help out / they often get behind. I made some romain salads and cut some peppers. So fun. xP
Church was cool. We spent a good half hour choosing where to go for lunch though... xP
Asian option: Sushi!!!!
Non-asian option: McDonalds... lame.
Needless to say I ate a lot of sushi. I got my second stamp on my 1000 Islands Sushi Card.
I got home at like 4:30..? There were people in and out of my house all day... This is somewhat annoying when you work in the dining room and would like some degree of quietness to work properly.
I also got a bike today, but I don't have a lock... >.> So i don't know what I'm going to do about that.... probably buy one..?
So, ya... I still have work to do, but OP is out........ hmmmmmm.......
Ok, I'll work for like 25 minutes then watch it.
Also, on the way home from sushi this song was on in DZ's car:
Also, this is a new MV from 2NE1:
Peace.

Personal Testimony
So, hey.
I really should not be posting now, but I've been meaning to post about what happened this week.
So, like, I shared on Wednesday. So scared, but God made it seem easier by making it someone I already knew.
On the way home that day RM called me and asked if I could share a testimony at the C4C meeting on Friday. The first thing I thought about was like "My thesis is: 'Random' Evangelism and my misconceptions of C4C sharing". I thought for a while about it, but never really wrote it down until Friday at like 2. When I was on the 117 headed back to school (I had forgotten to pack my lunch in a hurry that morning, so I went home after my CHEM tutorial thinking I had 3.5 hours between 12:30 and 3. >.> Anyways...) I was scribbling my testimony onto a few sheets of lined paper because I was supposed to meet with SS at 3 to go over it and he said I should write it down before hand... xP
Anyways, I got there early, he got there late (minimally) and I read him my testimony. He said that it was fine just the way it was. That it was really good for a first-year student. We also discussed some other stuff and he said some stuff about goal setting and what I am going to do at Carleton in my four years. What do I want to do in my four years at Carleton..?
So, ya.
After my meeting with SS, we went to the prayer meeting and, ya, that was cool.
After that was the C4C meeting. I was shaking with fear. I seriously hate public speaking ever since grade 1 when I was chosen as the best story teller and so I had to tell a story in front of the whole school....... I choked on stage. I couldn't say a word. I remember recess soon afterwards. "Hey aren't you that kid that ___" I don't exactly remember what he said, but it was about me being on stage and not telling a story... He definately laughed / mocked me afterwards..? So, ya. After that I pretty much avoided story telling / public speaking at all costs.... In grade 4 I pretty much refused to give a speech. It was worth a large portion of our marks, so I kinda had to in the end...........
So, ya. This was my first real testimony and you can't tell people that you will give a testimony and then not do it... especially if someone went over it with you.
So, ya. After the testimonies of the last couple weeks of sharing we went around to a few floors and gave out free pizza. many people were skeptical about the pizza's freeness, thinking that there was some sort of catch or something..... but some people came out. We just kinda chilled in the tv lounge talking which eventually led to discussions of faith, which was the purpose of the outreach night.
So, ya....
I will post my testimony after I'm done these lab reports that I am supposed to be working on right now / 6 hours ago......... I've been watching movies all day... >.> So good though! Juno and Shrek the Third and How to Train Your Dragon. So good!
More later I suppose.
I just realized, or rather, I just saw that it actually is a fact, that this blog has definately made me a faster typer. That whole thing didn't take like 10 minutes maximum. xP

P.S. Hi Iraq / Slovenia!!! =D
So, ya....

Amazing Timing.
So, hey.
I just finished stumbling through sharing with someone.
I had been trying to get someone to share with and no one was available / replying so I was very nervous about the whole thing........
Nearly the second after I had finished that post BC came out of nowhere and sat down with me.
Honestly, that's some pretty amazing timing and honestly, I might have just procrastinated and never shared if I was left to it, but instead, while I was still shaking, too scared to even stand up and find someone to talk to, someone I both knew and had previously felt that I should share with came to me.
That is pretty amazing.
While I was sharing like a bunch of C4C people walked by. XP... SS, AG, AH, DK..?
I definately talked with BC just in that hour probably more than I ever have. I have never tried to get to know BC or really listened to him fully entirely for varying reasons, but God has told me a few times to talk to him.
We can't rely on our own plans. God's [plan for us] is way better.

"Hey Bob!"
Ok,
I just finished my BIOL midterm. It was kinda long or average I guess. It wasn't too hard. There were a few short answer questions that I thought there should have been more room to answer in, but overall I think I did okay.
Anyways, I was just walking around and then someone says "Hi Bob!" so I turn to see and it was! It was Bob! my CHEM prof! I was starstruck. Then I just happened to be going the same way as him and I held the door for him and he said "Thanks".
I think that it is hilarious how my CHEM prof is like a celebrity*.
Today in class Bob was talking about the history of the periodic table and revealed our second bonus question by showing a certain song. I had already heard it a few times in the Music Office at Merivale, but everyone who hadn't seen it was laughing or in awe at it.
Our second bonus question / mark is that if we want to we can stand in front of the class on the last day of the semester and "perform the periodic table". All 112 that are named. And if you are in a group each member has to say all 112 of them. And don't forget that the class is video taped, so he'll count every single element.
Anyways...
FILM was cancelled yesterday at about 6:55 because our prof can't use the projector and the A/V guy wasn't there... That also means that there is no discussion tonight. Also, for thanksgiving, I don't have a PHYS lab tommorow morning, so I don't have class until 1 tommorow.
In this time I plan to (hopefully) share the gospel with someone, invade the Wednesday YA group's YA and do some studying for my CHEM midterm next Friday or finish a lab or two... xP I said hopefully in brackets so you can't hold me to any of that....... I am currently kinda scared of sharing alone. Like I've been procrastinating sharing for the last half hour... No one replied to my message on the C4C page and TM hasn't responded to my text.........
Anyways.....................
I am going to waste a Maximum of one hour more. If I don't go sharing before 2:30, at 2:30 I will. I swear. I promise.
Okay, so let's pray and then do some productive procrastination.
Oh heavenly father, Lord, my heart is filled with fear right now. Lord, I know that without you I can do nothing. Without you we are like branches that have withered, fall off the tree, are picked up and are thrown into the fire. Lord, give me your strength to share your word with others. Lord, guide me in everything I do. Lord, I will do this because you have called us to, but Lord I will not do it alone. Lord, I pray that you would be with me as I share and that your spirit would burn within me and that your love would flow through me. Lord, that you would already be working in the heart of the person you want me to speak to. Lord, give me courage. All this I pray in your name. Amen.
Okay, I'll ttyl...

Free Stuff!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? ..?!?!?
Okay, so.
I just had chemistry class and now I am in the atrium (>.>) with YA studying for Bio.
Some guy just walked up, gave us free DanActives and a PIN to possibly win something and walked away. Whoa! Free stuff!!!
My opinion of the attrium is slowly changing... >.> This is both unfourtunate and fourtunate. It is unfourtunately furthering the stereotype that the attrium is amazing, while it is at the same time very fourtunate that I just got free yogurt, so I am conflicted.

Above the World
So. I was thinking.
Creation looks so amazing from up here, but down there it's not the same. Down there you can see all the hate and destruction and sin. Up here all you see is how beautiful it is on the outside. Why would God, who is above all of this, come down to our level. Up there you can only see how wonderfully it appears to be, but down here you can see deeper into the problem... Up there we are insignificant specks, but God took / takes the time to not only keep an eye over all of us, but to come down to our level and listen to each and every one of us. All 6 billion+ of us. All 6 billion + of us who have walked our own path. Not only listen to each of us, but also reach out to each of us.
He could have just watched from afar. He could have just destroyed us. He could have done a lot of things, but he chose to speak to us, to reach out to us, to come down and show Himself to us, to teach us, to die for us, to save us. Each of us.
I was thinking while I was up there that I would want to be the person with an office on the highest floor of the tallest building. That would be so cool. Then I realized that it would just be empty pride. It would be easy to become proud of being above other people wouldn't it..? but God humbled himself and came all the way down from his heavenly throne and came down to our level. He was tempted every way we are. He was fully human and fully God. He never sinned. He fought the devil with the Word and with prayer and followed God's word to the dot.
The God above everything, the one whose name is above everything, the greatest of all creation, the creator himself came down from infinity and eternity and stepped into time and even washed Peter's feet. Even though he [Peter] turned from Jesus and denied Him three times in one night, Jesus didn't abandon him.
I don't know where I'm going with this anymore, so, ya..... xP
God is pretty amazing and He even takes the time to reach out for you and me and everyone in the whole world, we just have to pay attention.

The Climb. No. Not by Miley Cyrus. XP
On the way up... By the 20th floor I started imagining "what if the stairs collapsed." and I was freaking out....... So scary..............
I couldn't get to the top floor. The very top floor the door was locked. So I had to deal with the 22nd floor...
I wanted to look out the window so badly. I went around the halls looking for a window and couldn't find one.
However, there was one room open.
It was soooooooo cool! Honestly amazing. It's fall. There is a river right there. It's sunset! Omg. Creation is so pretty. XP...
Well worth the whole climb.

Various Thoughts
Hey, whats up..?
I don't have much to talk about right now... I think...
So, ya. One thing I've been thinking recently is that I think it's pretty cool that my facial hair is the same length as the hair on the side of my head. xP... I kinda want to shave really badly, but at the same time I feel it would look funny with no facial hair... xP
I've also been thinking about the 'neard' aka the neck beard. I've heard both HK and DK say that it is the most disgusting type of facial hair ever and I deffinately agree, partially because I really hate the hair on my neck and partially because it really is... Anyways I've been thinking "I should grow a neck beard just to see HK and DK's reactions... xP" xP... but at the same time I don't think that I'd be able to go outside while I had it because it is just so gross and disgusting that everybody would be staring at me............... so... i don't know........ I could deffinately grow it, but it's so gross.....
I'm fine with people staring at my head. I can't see it. I actually often forget that my head is shaved when I don't see my reflection for a while. I remember when someone acts differently then normal, usually by petting my head.... xP
So, ya..... ummm. I just saw a sign for the VSA meet and greet (VSA meaning Vietnamese Students Association) and remembered that AL joined it / was going to join it. Then I read the poster. Well, actually the smaller print is what made me read it. I was walking through Loeb and was reading signs and saw "Bubblecity" so I went back and read the sign. "VSA Meet and Greet Oct 16 at Bubblecity". "So that's why AL joined the VSA!" was my first thought. ._. xP
Also, I have just become aware that JB has a blog. I will be stalking it.
Also, I'm really bored right now, so I think I will go upstairs at the Duntun Tower. All the way, up, stairs. xP Should be both a waste of time and very entertaining.
So, ya.....

Do You Ever I
Do you ever end up procrastinating a list of 'to do's until the last day of the weekend, then, expecting to do them all that day end up procrastinating until the last few hours of that day and even then procrastinate by blogging..?
Well, I have / am doing that. xP...
Today I have tried studying for BIOL as well as tried figuring out what is due for my labs this week and have accomplished very little. I spent a while making a worship playlist that I accidentally lost twice, I spent a few minutes as a 'sad clown' and I was at my old house for a while. I also read the soul cravings prequel.
Anyways, I plan on doing the BIOL mock exam now, so ya... I'll talk to you later I guess.

Late Update
So, ya.
Remember how I said I was planning to share with my friend Thursday morning..? Well, after a very boring Physics tutorial I went to meet up with him to study for our Bio Midterm on Wednesday. I'm pretty sure we were supposed to meet at 10. We met up at 10:55. I wasn't actually very concerned about studying for it though... I had 'studied' with DK the day before for a couple hours and it's all review from grade 12.
So, ya... I didn't end up sharing with him that day... but just spending the time with him in the library was cool too. I am being completely open with him about me being Christian. His reactions are interesting. I don't really know how to describe them though... He seemed kinda surprised when I said "Worship music" as my third answer to 'what type of music do you listen to?' and he just nodded along when I told him I was on the worship team / was going to church when he asked what I was doing this weekend.
He doesn't really say too much. I'm not sure if he's christian or not, but thinking about it, that day when we had overpriced stirfry in the loeb building he didn't say grace..? but people sometimes forget / I'm not always very observant... >.>
Anyways, I realized, when I was originally writing a post similar to this one, that I was always really shy about sharing my faith, like even saying that I was Christian or admitting that I went to YF or church or anything. Since I've been openly sharing that much things have been way cooler and honestly no one has ever hated on me for saying I was Christian, so what was I so afraid of..? Then I realized that there are people who fear what people will do to them if they were ever found to be Christian. People living their lives hiding their beliefs from others.
I suppose that it is a blessing that we can live in a country with freedom of religion, but I guess at the same time that makes it harder too...
Anyways, this discussion led me to 1 Corinthians 10:31 "So whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." Live your lives intentionally so that you are always an example and people can see God's love flow through you, even if you aren't directly sharing the gospel. I havn't spent too much time lately on my memory verses, so I needed to get my memory verse sheets for that.
When I went to get them I also realized that I had yet to read any of the bible that day, so I read 2 Timothy 1 and 2 Timothy 1:8-10 spoke to me. "Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me His prisoner; but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity, but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel"
So, ya. There is no reason for us to hide the truth of our faith from others, but rather we should shine the light that is in us into the darkness of this world, or something along those lines.

Part 1
So, I do want to recreate that post... It won't be exactly the same, but I still think it would be worth sharing.
So, the first point was that I get to go to Winter Conference at the end of December! It's a C4C event that takes place in Toronto for five days. We stay in hotels and everything. We also do some training and door to door evangelism.
JB said it was really cool even though she was pushed out of her comfort zone (which may seem bad at the time, but is usually good. That is how we grow.). So, ya... I think JB is pretty cool. She always seems level headed...
Anyways... WC might be a bit expensive... XP......... I'm gonna have to either use the food money my parents have been giving me (they are giving me way too much money for food, but I don't even want to use it...) or just work a bit more (not a desire of mine, unless a get a fun new job! =D which I can't really get until my hair grows back...) ... DX
So, ya...
More of the amazing post with added content later.

Re-creation
Hey.
I was just thinking... I don't really like things that have been made for the sole purpose of being exactly the same. Some examples: dubbed anime, when I do something but it doesn't get saved so I have to do it again but it just doesn't match the original, turning a book into a movie or a movie into a game, etc...
I feel that by trying so hard to be exactly the same as the original, you miss the point.
Like sometimes in a video game or something I havn't saved then the power goes off. I really hate redoing the same thing because it isn't the same, its never going to be. Or my testimony, I was trying really hard to recreate the same one and I deffinately didn't.
I was writing a blog post the other day. It was amazing by the end of it. I had thought about the past, how amazing my life is now and then just before I finished writing the post I read a passage in the bible that related with the topic of the post and apparently that post never even got half saved... Annoying...

Sleeping In
So.
It's a long weekend, so I've been sleeping in. xP...
I've mostly been hanging out with friends / my brother and not doing much other than playing video games. xP
I went back to highschool on Friday. AL also was going to go and I thought of inviting BC, but didn't... I'm kinda passively mean to him... Anyways, BC did show up and so did AT. We went around bugging our old teachers (GG, PJ, JS, NC). Then we went to Wendy's for no real reason. Then we went to my house and played video games.
I cleaned the kitchen yesterday. Mostly just to procrastinate... xP...

Moustache Month: "Movember"
So, the other day I registered for 'Movember'. Through the month of November you grow a moustache starting from clean shaved on November 1st to raise awareness / donations for Prostate Cancer.
I registered because I had briefly heard of it a few times and JK and JW said they were going to participate (except that they plan on cheating.... By starting their moustaches in mid October. XP)
I am going to be legit and start clean shaved on November 1st, however I don't know how full my moustache will become...

Course Conflict
Heyo.
So, it was either today or yesterday that I realized: Even my elective has more hours than a normal credit. I mean every class has 3 hours each week for lectures, but in science / math there are also labs and tutorials that add 1-4 hours each week. So, taking an art class for an elective you'd think I should take a class with very few hours..? No... FILM has a 3 hour lecture / film screening period and a 1 hour discussion group.
... XP... It's cool though. This week we watched Manhattan, written / directed / starring Woody Allen. It is a cool movie. It is shot in black and white widescreen and is about a few main characters messed up relationships and their self centered interests and rationalizations. It is a romantic comedy, but really it is not romantic and is a social comentary on relationships. The humour is often very awkward and sometimes a bit vulgar (rarely) but overall very funny. However, Woody Allen never stops talking... XP....
I would recommend it.

Thinking To Tommorow
Sometimes as things happen during the day I think "wow, I should blog about this" and then I will think about how I would phrase the blog. I often forget those things by the time I get to my laptop though...
Today there were many such events.
I read 2 Thessolonians on the bus today and before Chemistry I did my Sunday school homework for last week.
I spent some time with JC and YA between Chem and Physics.
I played a couple games on my laptop in Physics. There is this game "Airfield Mayhem". JC's brother has a high score of 68 and JC has a high score of 39. I got to 44 after like 10 tries. I also played a couple levels of Gem Craft.
In bio I sat with AA and saved a seat for DK who was late. We learned about Photosynthesis. In photosynthesis photosystem II comes before photosystem I, which is actually annoying to remember, so our prof joked "They intentionally did that to confuse students. Something about the first shall come last and the last shall be first." Me and DK laughed. xP...
After bio I followed AA and saw AG, DF, BC, KV, JT and MD. I went to Leo's lounge. I agree with you AL. I mean I saw DF and there were like 2 tables of people playing cards.
After that I went sharing with SS. We talked for a while about how he normally shares, we prayed about sharing today and then we turned to the guy sitting next to us. This was my first time. I didn't say much, but I did get to see first hand how it would actually work. The guy was willing to speak about it. He was an international student and he was a philosophy student who had just had a lecture about 'what is the meaning of life?' so he was very open to talking about spiritual things.
As we were going through the track he rememberered having seen this movie about Jesus. When missionaries go to different countries they can easily share the gospel by playing "The Jesus Movie" or something which has apparently been translated into 900+ languages, so even though the missionaries can't speak the language they can share the gospel.
SS said he was very interested in finding out where he had come from because in China you have to have private screenings of it and everyone has to wear headphones so that they don't get discovered. So the fact that he had seen it is astounding.
After we had talked to him, he seemed interested, yet he said he had to think about it some more. Overall, it was a very good experience. It shows how willing the students are to talk about these things. It shows how far God's word has reached already. I just thought of a verse I've heard. Something like He who sows is not the one who harvests and God is the one who makes the seed grow or something.
Afterwards SS had to leave so we talked for a bit. "3 out of every 4 people I meet from OCBC are white". lol....... He was laughing out loud. Also at our pastor who is 'the white pastor' by name.
Anyways... After that I studied with DK a bit and went to FILM.
So, the main point of the day is that I got some experience with a real life sharing of the gospel with someone. Tommorow I plan to share with KC. We have arrangments to meet in the Attrium around 10 to study.
Btw, I have made 3 meeting arrangements and they have all met in the attrium... I dislike this because it furthers the idea that the unicentre is the best place in the world, which I do not believe. I usually avoid it actually.
Anyways, you could pray for me I guess... xP

Playlist!!
So.
I was wasting time during my chem lab time (I did my lab last week) and happened to blogstalk to a korean music blog. I thought "why does AL follow this blog..?" and then I saw it. There was a playlist in the sidebar!!! With korean music!!!! So I followed a few links, made a new account and in a few minutes had a playlist on the side of my blog! >.<
I also plan to make a worship music playlist, but JS just told me to do homework, so I guess I will.

E-pik fail-ure. *clap clap clapclapclap*
So.
Apparently I don't know how to cook rice...
I put in A lot apparently, and not enough water apparently, nad it wasn't cooked properly apparently and there's so much poorly cooked rice left......
Next time will be different.
*shakes fist at rice cooker*
I get to sleep in tommorow. I don't know if I will or not though.
You know how when you wake up sometimes theres like gunk in your eyes so you have to rub them before you can see clearly..? Well that's what I thought happened the other day. In reality I was just facing the wall when I woke up. I realized this within a couple minutes, but it's still funny.
I definately just wasted a lot of rice........ >.>

帰りました / OMG!!! PUPPY!!! =D
Hey, so...
We just got back from Summit.
Overall, it was a great experience. We got to spend a lot of time with the C4C people from Carleton and bonded. I suppose the more outrageous a stunt the bigger the audience's reaction, right? Well does the same go for relationships..? Like, everyone shaving their heads really brings people together. Or stealing the 'goose' that had already been stolen and painting it / giving it wings and having a photoshoot with it. xP And all the random cheering! "1! We are the Ravens! 2! A little bit louder! 3! I still can't hear you! 4! More, MOre, MORE! x4+" or "Caaaaarrrrrrlllll-tooooooooonnnnn x8+"
The worship team was pretty cool. The bass player was cool. He was asian, played bass, and sang harmonies! I was kinda being affected by my being sick and couldn't sing high notes very well, which was kinda annoying because the key was awkward for guys... xP I didn't care how terrible I sounded. I just sang as hard as I could! Now I have experienced the whole "it isn't about how good you sound when worshipping" idea.
Also, first impressions aren't always right. There's this girl I met a week or two ago. Her first impression was that of a quiet shy girl. I got a completely different impression this weekend.
Also, I don't really have a mohawk anymore, or rather it's a really short mohawk... xP I can't gel it anymore... I wanted it a bit shorter, but now it's too short... I shall have to let it grow out and have something between a mohawk and a fauxhawk...
Anyways, VS drove us home. I opened the door and a puppy runs at us!!! It's sooooooo cute!!! It's here for the weekend, but other than that I don't know anything about it. I think it's nails are too long though... and we have no carpets except an area in the living room and a couple rooms downstairs.
RL is kinda scared of it.... xP He saw it coming towards him, so he stood on top of a stool. xP
So, ya...
One of my favourite songs we sang this week:
The Greatness of Our God
So, ya.
I pray that everyone involved in Summit will be able to break through barriers in their faith and reach out to those around us and bring His word to their hearts. I pray that we would be able to work together with each other and God to fulfill his purpose for us and show His love through our lives.

Balloons are symbolic of what..?
So, ya....
Lunch just ended. It was our first chance to legitamately pop balloons for the second game which doesn't actually end for a while. We were each given a balloon and whichever school has the highest balloon to student ratio at the end of some time I don't remember wins the game.
Some people were just brutal about popping balloons. I just searched a cabin. There were no balloons there.
I was originally going to just passively protect mine, but it got popped... Brutally........

Fall
Hey.
It is sunny now. And all the leaves are changing colours. We are also right beside a lake. The leaves are falling. We all spaced out for quiet time.
This weekend is just so beautiful here. The uncountable stars at night and the many shades of colours in the leaves all around us with a cool breeze and cool water...
God's creation is amazing. I like camping so much. XP...
I found this cool, like, deck thing. I'm gonna go later tonight and just lie there looking at the stars.
Peace out.

Maple Cabin
Heya!
It is now 9 am the next morning. CU vs OU. Kinda interesting. Kinda immature. XP....
I woke up at like 7:30. There's this photo contest, well, there's a competition between all the Univerities here (CU, OU, Concordia, Queen's, and McGill) and there are various games / sports / contests to get points.
The first photo contest was "don't let the bed bugs bite". The CU guys took a picture of all of them without shirts under one blanket... There wasn't room for me is my excuse... Anyways the OU guys took a picture of them in our cabin while we were sleeping at like 3. If they win, we can argue that it is our picture. Lol....
Anyways it is now the second session.

So. It is now October and I am finally going to my first C4C event. It's gonna be crazy! I may even get a mohawk. XP...
So... Ya. I am now on the 117 going to school for the purpose of leaving the province. I am very glad that the bus is not packed right now........
A few minutes ago I just carried two sleeping bags, two pillows and one very... VERY stuffed bag to the bus stop. The reason for this is that RL, my housemate, is also going to summit but has class until around 5 today, which is when we are leaving and instead of carrying it around all day he asked me to bring them...
I almost never say no unless there is a legitamate reason like I'm doing something already. I'm always happy to help just that sometimes I help too much..? XP...
So, ya. It's almost summit time!
I'm still kinda sick.... XP and I don't really have any cold medicine, just medicine for a fever... So If I get a fever, I'll get better; and if I don't get a fever, I'll be getting better. XP.......
