Great. It's Raining Again.

So, hey!

Today when I checked the stats (xP... they make me happy...) I discovered that Poland had now seen my blog! and actually, they had more views than Canada when I checked!

I don't really have much to say right now... It's raining again... I had a physics lab... I'm super hungry now (3:30pm...)... Summit is this weekend!!! I have work 3 times next week... I can't go to YA or C4C next week because of work... but I get Saturday / Sunday off. yuss. but I'm actually really busy those days with Worship team and thanksgiving meals. >.> umm...... idk... I'm gonna have lunch and watch anime now.

Six Hours.

Hey!

This is the first week that I've stayed at school between my morning classes and my night class on a Wednesday. My schedule, if I havn't said yet, is about 8:30-1 everyday, with 8:30-9 on Tuesdays and annoyingly 7-8 on Wednesdays... >.> So a good point is that I have a regular wake up time, although it happens to be between 6 and 7 am, which is kinda annoying and difficult..? but its better then RL's wake up times. Sure, he gets to sleep in every other day, but that means that on the days when he can't sleep in it's that much harder. xP

Also, aside from Tuesday, I should have a lot of time to do things, that is, if school was the only thing on my schedule... >.>

I just payed another month of rent... It's kinda painful watching all that money disappear, but it means that I get to live here another month (at least).

lol.... Yesterday my housemates announced a new milk buying rule. The reason for this is that I drink a lot of milk... xP So first of all, the tally board for how much milk everyone buys is now, (finally) being used, and secondly, they have changed the ratio of milk buying from 1:1:1:1:1 to 1:1:1:1:2, ie I have to buy twice as much milk as everyone else does... >.>

Ever heard of "The Gallon Chalange"..? I could totally do it.

Just before this, my housemates were trying to determine how much extra on the rent everyone had to pay. The extra is for things that were bought for the house. It took three of them about an hour to divide 64 by 5. Well, it is a little more complicated then that, but really it's not that hard... This is mostly JK's fault because he was just really tired and his brain was not working. xP

Yesterday I watched the last episode of Reborn. The manga is still going, but they just stopped the anime after the current arc was done. I don't know why, but I know that I have more free time now. xP Not that reborn was bad, just that it did take up half an hour each week...... I know that isn't very much, but I have no free time..... >.> fine. I just have bad time management...............

Another very interesting statistic has just occured. Today I have had as many views from South Korea as I have from Canada! That is ridiculous! I hadn't had any and now I've had as many as I have from Canada (in one day, so far...)! Also, Malasia and Russia are now in my stats too. I think it's pretty cool.

So, during these 6 hours I am going to attempt to do some homework. The first thing I did was try to accomplish my Biology assignment. I had to go to the library and print / photocopy a specific scientific journal article. I have no idea how libraries work and there were no instructions (as far as I know...). So, it took me an hour to find the article and email it to myself and another 15 minutes to locate a computer / printer... The most fun part of that hour, however was deffinately playing with the shelves... xP THE SHELVES MOVE!!! =O There are also motion detectors to make sure no one gets squished by the shelves! I know what I did was immature, but it was pretty fun... xP

...

So, ya. I think this song is pretty cool. xP One by Epik High.

I think it's kinda funny how they have a different female vocalist in each of their videos. xP

*Kick in the Shin*

Heyo!

I'm kinda sick... xP...

It's been cold and rainy all week and most of the YA have been passing around something, so it's not coming from nothing, but it's still kinda annoying...

But you know, I don't stay home when I am sick. XP. I just do what I was going to do, just with a bit more coughing.

I hope I'm better before summit.

Anyways... It seems like hitting someone is a common and accepted way of getting someone's attention.

A couple weeks ago on the bus home as I was about to get off, DK kicked me. XP... And yesterday SK whacked me with his hat... Oh... And every other time I see AL it starts with a punch to the shoulder... XP...

Is hitting someone really the best way to greet someone..?

Idk... Probably not.

Wet Sheets

Lol....

I kinda just pulled a prank on my housemate. XP.

The only problem is that I have work now, until 10, and he doesn't get home until 5:30 or 6... So I won't get to see his reaction. XP.... Too bad.

The reactions are always the best part, eh..?

That is why you buy thoughtful gifts or ridiculously tacky ornaments or why you fake your suicide, right..? To see how people react..?

Because some things you just can't say, so you have to do something and see their reaction... But you also can't do everything...

So... Ya... I do not support faking your death to see if a girl you like actually cares about you nor do I support asking people to marry you just to laugh at their expressions...

Ya...

I'm gonna stop this post now before I say anything more incriminating. XP

Hey!

So, I just had a chem lecture about atmospheric chemistry (mostly ozone depletion stuff). I'm so tired....

Anyways, before class I called work.

I don't know why I'm always so nervous about asking my boss for anything... But ya...

I CAN GO TO SUMMIT!!!!!! =D

I hope I don't have much homework this weekend.

Summit

So, there's this seemingly amazing event happening this weekend. Campus for Christ (C4C) is having this event called summit where students from C4C campuses get together for a weekend or something. (I don't really know much of the details.)

When I was first invited I just ignored it because my first week as worship team leader was the same weekend.

The other day everyone in YA was talking about it and saying how awesome it was and if worship was the only thing in the way that I should just find a replacement.

So, I think I found a replacement.

Today at work I looked at the schedule and saw that I have work on Sunday.

I almost swore......

I had TM pay the (nonrefundable) deposit for me and was all phyched to go....

There is a small chance I can go, but it would involve completely changing the current schedule for Sunday and telling my boss...

I really want to go.........

Intentional Living

So, ya...

I really gotta do my sunday school homework then sleep..... like 8 hours until we leave for church. So, ya...

Today was amazing. After work (which is quite different now that produce's renovations have finished) I had to fill in for RL for A/V during worship practice. So, I got home, threw some food in a bag and ran out the door again.

Ok, this is serious. I was thinking "where is worship practice..?" "The church." "Where is the church..?" "Westboro United, right..?" "I havn't been there in a long time. I can't even remember what it looks like" "Didn't we move yet..?" Ok... I seriously didn't think we were there anymore. This week has been so long / jam packed with stuff that I havn't been to church in a long time.

Once I got to church I had my "lunch"* and tried to get my brother to go to church tonight. There was going to be this super amazing YA / YF worship night and I got to be on the worship team for it. So, after I did A/V for the actual worship team practice I did a worship practice for tonight's worship and then did tonight's worship. I was soooo hyper after the practice. I really enjoy being on worship team.

Anyways, tonight was amazing. This guy talked about this thing he's doing. He moved so that he could live in this kinda sketchy neighbourhood. He's been there 2 years. His goal is to live a missional life. A life that is witness of how Jesus and God have been working in his life. He told us a story, he tied in some scripture, and he was a Carleton grad. xP

So, ya. You shouldn't be separating parts of your life. Your whole life should be an example.

Too busy.

[This seems old, but is still a draft..? I could swear I've published it before. lol. Oh well. ignore it. lol]

Hey, so... a friend recently pointed out a feature on blogspot that shows me statistics of page views. These statistics are about who is looking at my blog including country, operating system and type of internet browser. It also gives me statistics about which sites have been refering mine and which pages have been seen and how much they have been seen.

The statistics have been divided into time periods as well so you can see how the data has changed. The groupings are "Now" (the last hour), Day (the last day), week, month, and "all time" which apparently is not 'all time' because it was only giving me stats for May 2010-Sept 2010. ... wait... is that how long I've been blogging..?!?? 0.o I just realized........ so... ignore that 'it's not all time' comment... hehe... [Ignore that "ignore that 'it's not all time'" comment. Apparently my friend who has been blogging longer then that still only gets back to then and I was pretty sure I started in April, so I guess that May is when the Stats page was created..?]

Anyways, some surprising statistics: I've had people view my blog from Germany, South Africa, Luxembourg!, Latvia, Singapore, Denmark, China, Japan, UK, US, Australia and (most surprisingly!) Canada.

So, ya... I have to sleep.... work at 7..... I just got back from work... xP..... >.>

Physics "Test"

So.

Today I had a Physics Tutorial at 8:30. The way these tutorials work is that we work in pairs on some practice questions then we get a test relating to the practice questions.

YA, JC and ZB are in my Physics class and lab, so I am becoming friends with them. I knew of them while we were at MHS, but I never really hung out with them. (I knew a lot of people, but mostly just hung out with the giftees and the music kids and some drama kids.)

Did I mention how this physics class doesn't expect us to have taken Physics in high school..? So everything is very boring and I've already learned it.

Today's tutorial was about straight line motion.

There is a car going at a speed. It slows down with a constant acceleration. How far did the car travel while braking..?

So simple! >.>

I finished the "test" at 9:35. The class actually goes to 11:30 normally... So I went to the Loeb building (where my next class is, at 1.) and watched anime and blogged...

Lol... my calc teacher does this funny thing when we are semi-confused / not thinking for ourselves. He will write "?!...!" beside the question and tell us to think for ourselves. he writes out every single word of the lesson in fancy cursive on the board. Most teachers use a projector or even short forms of words, but not him. He also mispronounces some words... "ln", the natural logarithm is said "lawn". He says "lin". He says "constant" as "conistant". He's funny.

After school today I have to play tennis with my brother. I told him on Monday that we could play on Saturday and he said that was too far away, so I have to play him between school and YA, which means I'll have to have another shower in between. >.>

So, ya... Once physics' class time is up, I'll stop procrastinating and do some math homework until math class.

So. I'll talk to you later. (ttyl)

Anyways, we are now at prince of wales... I just got to sit down. XP.... Texting while standing on a bus is pretty hard....

Almost every single bus I've been on to go home have been packed. On the way to school it isn't as bad until about fisher. It's a good thing I live near baseline. XP

So, ya.....

There are like 6 MHS kids on the 117 in the morning. XP I didn't really know them too well while we were at MHS though, so its kinda awkward...

Also, it has come to my attention that there are more readers of my blog than I had previously thought there were. It kinda annoyed me that I don't know specifically how many there actually are... So, I .... I don't know where this thought is going... XP...

I am now going by inverness park.

Blogging on the Bus

Hey. I am currently on the 117 Baseline right by the Nesbitt building at the moment. I should be home in about half an hour or so.

I just finished my film discussion group. Yesterday's film was casablanca. There was actually applause after the movie. XP....

Night classes are kinda pretty lame... I mean, my last class finished at 1... If this was a normal day I would have been so bored by the time my film class rolled around (7-8)...

Today I had an eye exam and saw L(?) at work. XP... My prescription hasn't changed much apparently, and my right eye is weaker than my left eye.

I then went home and had supper there. I hadn't had seafood in a while and today in bio we talked about omega-3s and stuff and how fish have lots of them.

When my dad said we were going to have curry rice and shrimp I was thinking about bio and about how I really like curry and shrimp and also how I really didn't have anything at home to eat.......... So I had supper at home. XP... There are more reasons

Eye-Catching Advertisements.

Well, you know how it is. Just walking around. Wasting time in a strange environment for the purpose of aclimatizing yourself. That's what I was doing the other day. Just walking around after Chemistry.

"FOOT FETISH"

*double take* "What did that say..?" but I kept going because I did have to get to Physics (have to..? that's up to debate.)

Anyways, a couple days later I have the same morning schedule, so I went the same way and stopped to read the poster. The poster consisting of a picture of feet with the words "FOOT FETISH" in bold, large, centered letters was actually about the CU foot patrol. There wasn't much info on the poster except that if you volunteer so many hours you would get a free t-shirt, so I was interested in discovering more about this "foot patrol".

So, today I went online, googled "Carleton foot patrol", and found their website. The foot patrol is a "student-run, volunteer based campus safe-walk and patrol service." So, even though the add is rather sketchy... hehe. The actual organization is a good thing. xP [I kinda really want to volunteer for them. xP]

So, ya. I didn't blog yesterday. Why not..? Oh, right. Work until 10 and honestly I need more sleep, so I really need to try going to sleep early on days like that, and tuesdays... xP.... stupid schedule... >.>

Yesterday I sat beside two asians. One kept speaking Chinese to her friends behind her, so I didn't really meet her at all, and the other was nice. She is in integrated sciences and likes physics... ewwww. xP... She got a 70 in summer school calc apparently. Not that I'm making any conclusions from that. xP I also met her friend who is taking russian. o.0

Today I met another couple asians. xP In my group for bio labs there is an asian who has the same name as KC. lol. Another K! xP KC thinks they might have the same last name too. xP He apparently facebook searched for himself and found another few, one which also was in ottawa.

So, ya. In my bio group, there are like 6 people. I was sitting beside two. One white guy and one asian guy. I was very happy that there was an asian in my group. xP I was actually kinda ignoring the other guy... >.> The way he was talking reminded me of someone I couldn't really stand talking to. I thought he reminded me of JA, but I suppose he's more like SS-W, but not really. He actually seems nice... I was just kinda ignoring him...

So, we were all supposed to sign up for a Science Student Success Center mentoring session. I signed up online for one at 3. It said my mentor was Bruce I think. I thought "awwww.... i don't think he's asian..." I got to the SSSC 20 minutes early, so they just chose one of the people already there. Asian. Yuss. But the mentoring session was so boring. Really it is more for people who don't know what they are doing, so he told me to come back if I needed anything.

I got free pizza later because I went to another workshop. I actually didn't register this time... xP

Anyways.... I got to FILM half an hour ealry this time. It didn't fill up as quickly as i thought it would have. I hear there are lots of 2nd and 3rd year students in it for an easy A. xP... Today we watched Casablanca.

Ossu. (if you don't know by now, 'ossu' is a very informal way of saying 'hey' [in japanese].)

Oh... XP. I already blogged today. XP... In class. =D

Not much happened after class. I still hadn't eaten anything. I went to my chem tutorial. Basically its our prof doing some questions from the book in great detail so that we understand them. It was mostly just converting units of pressure and using the ideal gas law.

After that I went to the quad and wasted more time on fb and youtube until my battery started complaining.

Then I went to a computer lab in the Steacie building and did the same, but also some chem work.

I discovered a song by G-Dragon that is pretty cool.

[Insert 'shonen yo' by G-Dragon here.]

The reason I didn't go home immediately is that I had signed up for a workshop about writing lab reports.

The workshop was pretty boring and the speaker went too far in explaining things, but I suppose that I learned a couple things and it was all reinforced.

So, ya. Work is boring.

=D.Fa

Are All Physics Teachers British..?!?!?

No. Not All physics Teachers are British. But an awful lot are. If we change the question to "Are all excellent/trustworthy physics teachers British..??!?!?!" The answer then becomes yes as far as my experiences are concerned.

I have had a British Physics teacher every year since grade 11. The only reason I had to change the question is because my current physics 'prof' is not very good / I'm not learning anything. You could say "Oh, well you are in the physics class that has no prerequisite physics! That is why you are not learning anything!" and you would be correct, however, that is a moot point. I have heard that he is actually pretty bad and really he goes into far too much detail about obvious things, like sig digs. We are in university, we had to take at least one science course to get here. sig digs and scientific notation are standard. He went over it for a whole period....

Also, he writes delta signs (the little triangle) as circles! (or at least they appear to be.)

Now you will say "Well, that's only 2 physics teachers, you can't proove anything with only 2 examples." To that I say that my physics lab coordinator is British. He made a typo in his slide the other day and some keener read it ahead of time and pointed it out. When we went to the lab yesterday and saw the slideshow there was no typo, however, there was an arrow and a picture of a pear..? He said it's a British saying he uses to remind him of a typo he had fixed. Ap'pear'antly, when something bad happens you can say "it went pear shaped." What..? I don't get it.

I really want my brother to use that phrase in his physics class and see what the reaction of his teacher is. xP (Mrs. PJ)

So, ya. I wrote that while in a Physics lecture. I have also been updating photos on facebook. The internet here seems to be working much more reliably now. =D

Bus Pains

Heya.

I just saw my bus go by! Well... The same route, but the earlier bus.

Buses, although they are useful in travelling large distances are not always scheduled the exact way you want them to be.

For example, there is no bus on my street. (most likely because it is a private, but still. XP)

Also, the o-train kinda annoys me. It shows up just after the 117, but when you get to confederation the 111 isn't coming for like 15 minutes, while the 117 would have come in like 10...

CU-Wireless

Ossu.

Nani o shite imasu ka.

Watashi wa hima desu. FIJIKKUSU no KURASU wa juuji han goro ni hajimasu.

xP I'm bored and ya....

The reason I was late to class yesterday, aside from the fact I didn't have a watch, is that I was basically procrastinating. xP I was listening to Big Bang and reading AL's blog. I had done some work, but mainly not much. xP

I have managed to connect, on and off anyways, to the Carleton wireless internet with my laptop. It's semi-sketchy.... actually, pretty sketchy... I can't seem to stay connect for very long... I doubt that I will be using my laptop very much at school...

So, my chem class is like 5-600 people... I wanted to sleep like 10 more minutes this morning, and in a chain reaction, that meant I had to take the last possible bus before class. It was extremely packed on top of which, we were like 10 minutes late and honestly, you have to get to chem class like 15-20 minutes early to get a good seat... and like 10 minutes early to get a seat... so I was in the aisle..... xP

Ya... this internet sucks... xP

I have been attempting some of my goals. Some are easy, some take time, and some I think will be pretty hard... and I've been trying to find loopholes to justify my actions. Like reading 3 chapters before watching anime. Read 3 before each anime..? read 3 chapters, not in succesion, then watch anime..? Can you stockpile chapters then cash them in later..? I suppose I wasn't specific enough. I really want to watch anime though.... xP I only watch One Piece yesterday night! that's like 3 days after I could have potentially watched it! I always watch OP at like 11pm Saturday.

Anyways, this is not really working for me... so I'm gonna stop trying right now............ ya...

No YA of The Day... >.>

So, hey.

I need more sleep. and better meal schedules. and more sleep.

So, ya. Tuesdays suck. and I didn't even have a full Tuesday... My first class wasn't until 1 today, but I still woke up at 6, to look at my schedule and go, "oh... no bio lab today.... why aren't i still sleeping?!?!?" then i did chem work and went to school for a math lab (cancelled...) but I got to make another asian friend. xP

I walked into the class. I looked around. I sat down beside him. xP awkward silence.....

15 minutes later everyone is getting impatient / beginning to leave because our prof is late / not showing up. So, we both leave. Our next class was a math lecture and we had like an hour, so we walked around in the tunnels. I went to find out where my discussion group for film is. its pretty far away...

We went back to find out we were 30 minutes early. By this time although we had talked, I still didn't know his name. xP

So, we were waiting outside the math room and the guy I met last thursday in math shows up. They meet each other, but the funny thing is that their names are the same except for one extra 'l', so he said his name, then the other guy said his name, so the first guy was like "no, 'my name'" and so I introduced them to each other to stop it there. xP

Then a friend of the first guy who is also in japanese class showed up (not visibly asian, ie white).

I smiled because I had made so many asian* friends and because I was pwning them at hiragana. xP

These last few days had been pretty cool.

So, I get to my chem lab and find out we are all in specific places on the lab benches. I look at the list. The guy beside my name was asian. I was like "Yes!" (in my head). Then while the lab instructor (also asian) was explaining things I was standing beside this korean guy. I was hoping he was my partner, but the guy beside me had a chinese name, so it couldn't be him. NF was my partner today. He's pretty cool. It's weird being the 'AP' of my lab group though. xP No offense to AP, but she's always such a keener.

So, after the lab I went to a computer lab to do some stuff. My phone had died earlier so i didn't have the time. I ended up being 30 minutes late to my first film class.... >.>

Apparently there are only 2 essays this whole year though, so that's ok I guess....

Date Night

Heyo.

Today was my baptism.

I seriously don't know why I was so freaking nervous. I couldn't even see anyone...

One really cool thing though is that I was actually cleaner after it. xP I mean I didn't have any sandals or anything, so my feet got really dirty before my baptism.... xP but after my feet were clean, and I felt cleaner.

I don't like being the centre of attention very much...

My parents came for my baptism, but left immediately after... xP just like every concert after grade 9. xP I'd stay and clean up / put away everything and they'd go home...

I didn't have any plans today because it was going to be the church picnic at Vincent Massey park, but was cancelled due to weather, so we went to Pho' Maxim. I like pho' but everytime I always put in way too much hot sauce... this is one reason why I always order bubble tea. xP except this time it wasn't bubble tea, it was a durian milkshake. xP So good. AW was like "can I smell it?" so she did and made an expression of disgust. xP L(?) is cool. He told me that today wasn't just about me making a commitment, it was also about God declaring that I am his or something. xP

After Pho' I went home, procrastinated a bit, then CW came over. We just talked for a while, then we played Halo. xP Me and CW aren't great at Halo...... In the end we were playing in a mode where you build the area or something, so one guy was kinda cheating the whole time and we didn't figure it out until JK told us. xP Then it just got messed up and CW just kept dying... xP it went to like 150 to 20... then we were all bored of it. Some people take so much joy in killing other people in video games...

We went to DQ. I got a mint milkshake (yum. I ALWAYS get a mint milkshake. Always.) and saw EK.

We then watched Date Night. It's kinda ridiculous. xP Steve Carrel is funny. xP

So, ya. I got time to hang with my housemates (minus RL who just got back from Waterloo) and just chill. Real school starts this week. class every morning at 8:30... fml. jk.

Breifly and for a While

Sometimes I am just too shy...

So, ya...

--- just discoved that I have lost my testamony.... xP.....

So, ya.

I grew up in a pretty normal home. Loving parents, a crazy brother, pets. I was just another normal kid. I was going through life because I had to, not for any real reason. I got good grades in school and because of this, school ended up at the center of my life. Everything I did was somehow related to school. Until a couple years ago when a friend invited me to YF.

It was at YF in the Alpha course that I was introduced to who Jesus is and what He actually did. How he came to pay our debt and give us life. and that's what he did by bringing me to church. Since then I've been learning more, meeting new people, going to youth events, singing worship songs and growing.

I tried to overcome obstacles on my own and fell flat on my face a number of times, but since I've been able to put down my pride and ask for help I've come much further along this narrow path.

I still have a way to go, but now I'll have help moving forward each day, whether its inching forward or taking a larger step. And if I start to turn from this path, I know I'll be called back.

So, ya... That is a brief testamony. I feel like I use too many cliches and not enough of my own words, but I'm terrible at English and using words to express what I mean.

I'm also supposed to have specific detailed goals for how to grow spiritually in the next year.

I can [mostly] only think of goals that are based on regrets involving miscommunication... like:

Tell my parents 2 weeks in advance, in detail, of events that will be happening;
Start at least 5 conversations that are more than just "Hi" "Hi" "How are you?" each week;
Tell at least 2 people about the gospel each week;
Invite at least 1 person to church each week;
When someone asks a question, do not give the short version, ie "i don't know" or *shrug*;
Spend 15 minutes, minimum, each day reading the bible;
Before watching an episode of anime, read 3 chapters of the bible;
Pray every hour;

"But we'll leave that for 2007"

So. Hey, I guess I went to sleep last night. xP

After lunch we went and split into our majors and had some more orientation. A lot (a lot) of it was about how SSSC can help you. (Science Students Success Centre) It was all quite boring except for this video used to describe plagarism. On youtube apparently there are people who take the news and then autotune it to make videos.

The original:

The autotuned version:

lol.....

We then were taken elsewhere and introduced briefly to some of our profs. This one guy really like natural science. Its pretty funny watching him go on about natural science.

Then I went to a very brief workshop on procrastination.

Then we went to the free bbq that the carleton navigators were having nearby. I met a bunch of people. The navigators is a christian group that has dinner discussions and many outreach events. The only problem is that my timetable doesn't let me do anything tuesday or wednesday nights, which is when most of their events are held... so although it was interesting and everyone was really nice I dont think I can participate much...

Today I didn't have a class until 1, so I didn't wake up until 8:30 and at 10:30 I went to MHS to see people. I got like 7 hugs (a couple charged at me). I'm glad that each year we brainwash the music kids to eat in the basement. It makes them easier to find. xP but MM wasn't there! I wanted to see MM... >.>

Then I went to school. I kinda got slightly lost for a couple minutes because I didn't remember which room my class was in. I found a student computer lab and checked out carleton clubs and my timetable. Apparently the anime club and board game strategy club have the same president. The anime club sounds cool, but its on saturdays which is when worship practices are... and from what I read, apparently you need a membership to use the carleton athletic facilities..? I was hoping it was free / in my tuition already... I may have misread though..?

So my first class was MATH 1007 C. Calculus. Today was review of gr 12 functions though, which is good because I took that course last summer and barely remember any of it... xP

I walked into the room and saw an asian, so I sat beside him. xP

I'm not good at introductions... so i sat there silently for a while. For some reason I decided to write "can you read this?" in hiragana on my notebook instead of talking to him. This happened to work out though... xP He asked if I knew japanese. xP He is apparently korean and went to u of t last year. He's taking japanese this year because his sister said it was easy. and his name is k____. I know a lot of asians named k____.

So, ya. After that I had work... I just saw the 117 go by when I got to the buses and the otrain just arrived, so i took it instead of waiting. Unfourtunately the 111 didn't come for 15 minutes, so I ran/walked from confederation. I got to hogsback. 5 minutes for the next 117 and 7 minutes for the 111. So I kept going. I cross the bridge and the 117 goes by. whatever... i'll just get on the 111. It goes by too, so I ran and got on from the back door and the bus driver yelled at me a little..............

So, ya....

So much for university.

Ttyl... I have to wake up in like 6 hours..... RL doesn't... he only has labs and tutorials on fridays (no labs / tutorials this week...)

Orientation Part 3; "Your Pickle Hit Me!"

Ok, the presentation was pretty cool...

Now we are eating in the square with all the "science" students.

What's next..?

Orientation Part 2

We have now been here for like almost 2 hours. Apparently we were near the begining of the line, so we got the front row in the gym, which is now packed with first year students wearing coloured shirts to determine which degree they are pursuing.

We have been sorted and crammed in a large room.

Orientation Part 1

So.... We have been waiting in line here.... Waiting for 'orientation'.... We've been here like 40 minutes..... In a line......... >.>

Waste of Time

Minna san, konnichiwa. (Hello everybody!)

Ok. I've procrastinated long enough.

I woke up at 9. Went to McD's to talk to Pastor DB, but I hadn't written my testimony or set any goals for the next year, so we didn't talk very long... So I went home, had breakfast, then JK (a different one with a very similar name, actually. my house mate) gave me a key for the house. I went to put it on my key chain.

I couldn't find it. I then thought I lost my keys and was all in a moderate panic. I was thinking I could say a prayer, do my testimony and goals, then look for my keys, or I could go to the tennis courts, which is really the only place that I could have left them other then in my bag, which I thought I had already checked.

I didn't really pray, then I went to the courts. They are pretty far away now actually...

That wasted like a good hour or so. I passed by MHS. It's a half day though, so I didn't see anyone...

I then found my keys in my other bag, my new one.

I had lunch and am now procrastinating by listening to Relient K songs on youtube...

Its been another hour or so. I wrote some stuff. It doesn't really seem like a testimony though... xP... It made me remember a bunch of stuff though, which is cool.

Experimental Cooking

So, hey.

Today we didn't do much. I slept in until 10. xP It was labour day. We went to rideau to return RL's headphones. Then we went with HZ to K(?)'s dorm at the University of Ottawa. HZ cut RL's hair. lol. We just hung out for a bit then went home. RL falls asleep on buses. xP When we got home we were very hungry.

This led to us making spaghetti. RL went shopping with his dad yesterday. He bought a couple jars of sauce and some ground beef. We both were going to eat it, so I had to contribute something too. I put an onion, a carrot, a tomato, and cheese into the sauce. We also used my spaghetti, so overall, like 6$ from RL and like 2.50$ from me. xP I did cook it though, and do the dishes... xP

Today RL's older sister CL texted him saying something like "treat Dylan with respect, he's not your slave." xP This was earlier in the morning. It's still funny though. xP

Me and RL bought a gift for HK. I think she will like it. xP

Ummm..... What..?

This is slightly awkward...

RL is comparing how fat his legs are with HZ...

Salad with Free Raisins.

Hey.

So, today I had church and work.

Baptism in a week!

So, today after service was a special lunch for JK and KK, but I had to go to work for 2 and couldn't stay long. JJ was pressuring me into eating lunch. She saw me kinda waiting outside the Sr. Parlour and was like "come in, eat something." She insisted. I said I had to leave soon, so she said I could just eat in the kitchen like some of the people who helped cook the meal were doing. I said I had to go to work. She said she couldn't let me go to work without eating something. I kept saying I was fine, but I ended up in the kitchen. AW was in the kitchen. She got me a plate and a fork and was suggesting which food I should eat. I told her I had to leave... like immediately. laugh. I then exited the building quickly, as to avoid being caught by JJ.

I had packed a nice lunch anyways.

I don't like how work does this to my Sundays...

RL finally moved in. His dad and little sister were 'helping' him set up his chair and printer and stuff. I like his family. pseudo-CL too. xP

Blogging Before Bed

Yay! Alliteration! =D

>.> lame... I hate english...

Anyways, hey! Today was Saturday September 3rd. September... Ewww school in like half a week...

I had work, then worship practice, then tennis.

I moved out on Monday, right..? Then why have I been home three days in a row..? For free dinner..? No. For free meat..? No. Why..? Because my brother wants me to play tennis with him and my mom worries too much... >.>

So, ya. Worship practice today was amazing... xP Sometimes worship team is sooooo cool, but sometimes it is kinda annoying. Its usually really cool though. Playing bass and singing harmonies is a lot of fun.

This song is sooo cool. "Power Of Your Love" by Hillsong.

I like how we play it more then that version though. More bass and guitar. xP

You Pass! =D

I just used my upass for the first time.

It was very boring.

Step by Step

Sometimes you don't notice time
Sometimes you don't realize how little there is.

when seconds turn into minutes, and
when minutes turn into hours, and
when hours turn into days, and
when days turn into weeks, and
when it feels like weeks turn into seconds.

Sometimes you spend a few hours each day with somebody,
Sometimes you spend a whole week in the same house,
Sometimes you just have a really good conversation with someone,
but when they are no longer there you realize how you enjoyed when they were there.

You don't realize until its gone.

Like an hour..?

So, today I was barely in my house. xP

I woke up at like 5:45, left the house at 6:30, ate a muffin and milk at mcdonalds, went to work 7-1, dragged a pile of groceries home, changed clothes, left the house at 2:10, bought a slushie from the esso across the street from mhs, went to RM's house for the giftee party (very much fun.), got a drive home and am now blogging.

(MY UPASS WORKS NOW!!!)

So, in summary / my point is: I have barely been in my house today. I didn't even see my housemates until like 11:40 pm. They play Halo. xP...

Tommorow is "Armagedon" (I probably spelt that wrong. xP). That meaning that we may or may not pet a goat (xP) and possibly eat marshmallows. It is a semi-sketchy event that has been 'planned' for the same purpose as today's giftee party, but aimed at another circle of friends. I'm glad I got to see all those guys again and we should be able to hold similar events during holidays...

So, ya... I'm gonna sleep now. When I wake up I might do laundry and more shopping..? Oh and finish 'unpacking'.
